Well, Cheryl should shift another 80k this week, so I'd imagine, looking at the pop bars, that JLS will be in the region 150-170k by the end of the week.

While its very good, its not so difficult when you release two single before an album. Lady gaga and BEP both get my hat taken off this year for managing a 2nd number 1 with an already released album. Now thats impressive.

TBH, anyone who ever gets to #1 its impressive... It's a massive achievment for any artist regardless of whether they have an album out or not.

A possible reason for 3 Words' increase; After the show loads of XF fans went onto iTunes to download JLS -- At the same time saw Cheryl's next single and thought "ooh.. i'll get that too"?

even pixie managed the double, prior to album release. But pixie has no longevity.

I'd say mainly down to being in the charts tonight. But I do like the thought that just seeing Cheryl on TV makes people rush to buy ^_^
