Such a gorgeous album. Always gutted it didn’t blow up/she didn’t follow it up

If i remember rightly it’s because she believes that she can’t produce a record that will ever be better than Ghosts, so won’t try to. I get that. Ghosts is a f***ing masterpiece

Am I correct in remembering that was rumoured to be the third single?

Yeah I think it was meant to be but it never materialised

Thanks, good to know I wasn’t imagining it. I always thought it’d have an interesting video.

I’d love to hear Siobhan on some 2.0 songs but I think we’d on,Yu get them through a concert or something similar.

Stronger and Too Lost In You would be amazing!

They did them at Shepherd's Bush and it was so good.

I’ve only seen/heard Caught In A Moment and that was incredible.

When was the last Sugababes Singles Rate? Could we have one? Or even a One Touch Rate.

Would there be enough interest?

Siobhan has performed both of those live!!! There is plenty of clips on YouTube from Scala (the 2013 comeback gig) and then the 2013 Sacred Three Tour.

Stronger at Scala is one of the most incredible things to watch. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Shiv also absolutely nails Freak as well.

You mentioned CIAM and honestly that made me fall in love with the Song all over again. Siobhans version is a flawless masterpiece

if it charted at all I’d be beyond thrilled.

Thanks, looks like I have some YouTube stuff to check out in the morning. Ooh Freak Like Me, that sounds great. I’m not a huge fan of having the vocals drowned out by the screaming but I understand it. Hopefully they’ll be good.

Thanks, I don’t remember the last rate, though I’m sure I took part.

I demand :mutya: :keisha: :siobhan: emojis.

Keisha is a part of Leigh-Anne's 'Race, Pop & Power' documentary which is on the iPlayer right now or tonight on BBC One at 9pm (BST).

It's gonna be interesting hearing what she has to say. I'm excited. I will be watching at 9pm as I wanna boost overnight figures for my fave like a true Mixer  but expectibg this to be just as strong and powerful as Jesy's documentary.

Theres a clip on the mail Website That seems to shed a little more light on the departure.

Imma need to charge the laptop And fire up the VPN to get this watched (not at 9pm tho sorry Jonjo that’s 10pm CEST tho I am open to a quid pro quo ;) )

Too private to tell us she’s moved to Canada for a man but not to private to tell us about some private medical shit. Only Keisha

I watched that video a couple of days ago - firstly, poor Keisha! I really empathise with her having a string of health related issues.

This amused me though :kink: -

So I’ve spent the last week listening to all 7 albums, what a trip down memory lane that was.

I don’t think I’d heard some of them for 10+ years.

That's quite interesting! I wonder when Never Gonna Dance Again was originally recorded, easily the best song of 3.0 and I had no idea it was already recorded, at least a demo version, when Mutya was still in the band. I just looked into the credits and only Heidi and Keisha have writing credits, neither Amelle or Mutya have.

It was likely recorded during the Taller sessions - Mutya was still credited there due to the arrangement they had during 1.0-2.0 but it was largely written by Keisha and Heidi, which is likely why Mutya was removed from the credit when Never Gonna Dance Again was re-recorded.

Allegedly, 4.0 tried to go back to demos from Three (!) when they originally started recording for what would be the aborted eight album campaign.
