On Amazon, yes.

340k UK, 400 k USA.

And World wide

There is no way she will beat Oasis LOL. I'd be suprised if that record is broken ever.

I shall say 277k.

Hmm I think it'll be massive. 300k? [uK]
LOL at 2.5m in the US! She'll be incredibly lucky to sell half of that in total, never mind first-week! I say 300k here and the same there.

:lol: I know! 2.5 million in a week is mad.

I don't know about the US because I don't know much about the market, but 300-350k here and whatever it takes to get to #1 there! ^_^

Given what even major artists albums have been selling this year, I'd have to say no more than 250k
I already said my prediction for the UK (310k) but as to how much in the US... well... I'd say around 700k-ish.

I'd say about 280K here and the difference between the UK and US sales to be not that great ... maybe another 100K. (edit ... having said that .... the US do seem particularly struck by Susan's charms - maybe a bit more).

How far ahead of the rest of the world are UK and US sales anyway? I notice no-one bothers posting what they think Germany or Spain or France will sell, etc. I'm imagining after UK and the US ... Germany and Japan are the biggest sellers ... but how big a dent to they make in the global music sales market? Just curious!

And I'm sorry ... on a musical note .... I still don't see what the fuss is about. She's got a very, very nice voice ... but so have some 50 year old women I've heard in church choirs. Maybe they should grow beards and go on BGT ... they could raise some funds for the church roof appeal!

Agreed. I still don't get the obsession over her. Her voice is alright, it just grates on me quickly.

I'm not sure about Germany, but Japan is the second largest market in the world, behind the US. Sales are usually very front loaded, so in terms of world charts they debut high, but then fall down quickly, not to mention that apart from a small handful, Japanese people tend to only buy Japanese music, which obviously isn't released anywhere else. these are the top ten albums/singles for the year so far, just to give you a perspective of sales;

嵐 are literally HUGE at the moment, as you can see!

I've got number 5 in the singles chart and number 7 in the albums! :lol:

Seriously I did figure Japan would be high up there ... but as you say ... not many people in the rest of the world will know of their artists. When I think of Japan though I just keep thinking of the lines to a song 'No-one wants you when you're big in Japan' ... I can't even remember the name of the group that sang it now!
