November 27, 200915 yr It wont go that far because its released the first monday of 2010, where the chart is usually quiet, although they could take advantage of this. It will go low top 10 at best The songs OK, but not exactly original Edited November 27, 200915 yr by chart wizard
December 8, 200915 yr I think this will really do well, it's already #27 on iTunes and #39 in the mids, It could be as big as 'Up!' :D
December 8, 200915 yr I'd love #1 but it's obvious the XF winner (or Cheryl) will have that. :( I'm gonna say top ten anyways. Is this the first time one of the Sats singles have entered the top 40 on downloads alone? (well, besides 'Work' but that had lots of promo and it entered the charts closer to it's release than 'Ego' did!)

December 8, 200915 yr Author No. 'Issues' entered around this time, and on the week of release, shot up straight to number 3! :D Correction. 'Issues' peaked at #4.
December 8, 200915 yr Actually Issues went to #6 in release week and then climbed to #4. It only entered the Top 40 2 weeks before the physical release. 55-44-36-27-6-{4}-5-9-12-16-26-27-32-35-39-58-75-74->18
December 8, 200915 yr I think this could well get to #4 or #5, happy that it seems to be going well so far.
December 9, 200915 yr Best song on the album  Hopefully an early contender for #1 in 2010  This will kick start sales of the new album just as 'Issues' did with the first album :yahoo:
December 10, 200915 yr Best song on the album  Hopefully an early contender for #1 in 2010  This will kick start sales of the new album just as 'Issues' did with the first album :yahoo: I really doubt that.
December 10, 200915 yr Doubt what? That it won't kick start album sales? i would think both. Generally an album need at least two big hits to sell a lot in this sales climate. BEPs needed 3 before The E.N.D. started selling a lot.
December 10, 200915 yr I was thinking the same though, Issues was a 3rd single after all. So whatever the 3rd single is needs to be of high standard as Ego, but Ego should at least help them back into the top 75 and keep them around in it for a while and as singles 3 and 4 come, the album should sneak back into the top 40 much like Cry Me Out is doing for Pixie Lott's album now.
December 10, 200915 yr This seems like there best single so far. It's a bit short at 3:00, and not sure the subject matter will make anyone want to buy it, but in terms of listenability it's an awesome track. I hope it goes Top5, but maybe it will hoover inside Top10. I think it will easily have a longer chart run then the previous release.
December 11, 200915 yr I never understood all the hate for FIO  I love Ego and hope it will chart top 5, but the best song on the album is defintaely One Shot   THIS
