I've decided now that Happy is one of my three least favourite tracks on Echo :o

Same here! If she was going to lead with a ballad she really should've led with either her next single, 'I Got You', 'Naked' or 'Brave' imo. Tbh ... I reckon 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' would've sold better too.

Great to see Pogues top 40 again  easily the best xmas song ever imo.

I agree, Brave would have been a great lead, so different with an Eastern feel, Happy is just generic Tedder fare...

Stop Crying Your Heart Out could have been big, but I don't think it would have been a popular choice, it would have looked to the casual listener that she was just trying to recreate Run purely for sales

It had a sales increase this week though :D

Gutted about Rihanna in Albums! :( I think her sales are actually up from last week though so I guess that's something.
amazing album sales ... bigger than in the US (which has 5 times more population)....

The whole top 4 albums doing 100k, amazing.

I must be the only one on here that thinks Susan Boyle is just total earrape..

3rd year in a row that this tune has made the top 40 for Mariah and also the album that it came from was released 15 years ago this month when Mariah was one of the biggest stars of the first half of the 90s.

Will Young holding up incredibly well in the albums! a good 'mum' type xmas present though I suppose, along with most of the albums in the top 20 to be honest
