I read the other day that East 17 (the single that beat it to #1) outsold it in Christmas week by only 15,000 copies. :(

:o I never knew that!!

Whatcha Say still , hopefully will climb a bit more next week.

But a re-entry to the top 20! Say this Dev is best presenter of the show in 30 years!

Hes awful.

The rest of the chart should be quite interesting. The fate of Cheryl's 3 Words peak  how far RATM have dropped. If huge iTunes climbers than Ke$ha, BEP & Cheryl Cole can have big leaps.
By the looks of their sales, at least we're not in the minority of the UK!

Yep their album sales are amazing :)

& doing well with singles too

Much improvement to be honest, I think Reggie should take a long holiday and a very long rest, I hardly heard any waffle.

Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. Only 20 years old at the time of the album's release, Keys already seemed poised for a major career built upon her soulful voice and classically trained piano chops. While hip-hop played a much bigger role on her second effort, 2003's THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, it was a smash nonetheless, and subsequent recordings have further pushed the boundaries of R&B - HMV

Having now heard TSWABH, I can confirm that this is an awful first single choice.
