Once again, the world will be full of people mocking Britain and the $h!tty songs that reach the summit of our chart.

It seems that the only way to determine if a British (or Irish, for that matter) number one actually deserved it's peak is to look at whether it was number one in other countries around the world... (GaGa, Owl City, Beyonce, etc)...

The remixes of The Editors track are epic so hopefully to will start to climb!

I admit i watch XF but you'd be surprised how much music knowledge i have for my age. ^_^ When i said the BMI is bad, i was also talking about NDubz, Iyaz etc as well. Although they are hardly Louis' proteges :lol:

I don't think anyone expects/ed it to work, I've downloaded it but I know it's not got a hope in hell of going top 10.

 

Still, it could possibly, just, maybe, scrape into the top 40 depending if it keeps up. Although I expect it'll get to about #60-75 at very very best

GA will have the most sales today (possibly tomorrow), if it's not top40 on iTunes by the end of today it won't make a dent.
