Taylro Swift will never have another hit.

She's a one hit wonder.

 

YBWM doesn't count - even though it's her best song and worthy of a top 30 position, she only made #30 with it because of teh VMAs controversy with Kanye West.

Taylor Swift is pretty vile I must admit. She's like a talented version of Miley Cyrus but just as irritating.

I listened to her album and every song sounded the same. Doesn't help that she spins the whole 'fairytale/happy ending' crap far too much.

 

Anyway I'm very disappointed with Hassle :(

Taylor Swift won't win this. She hasn't matched Lady GaGa's success worldwide, nor in Britain. Lady GaGa is the only deserving winner. If she doesn't win it, it's an absolute farce and a shambles. End of rant.

She has sold far more albums than Gaga in both the US and Worldwide. Albums are far more important than singles. How is Gaga the only deserving winner? As someone said, Taylor is on an independent label and has still had so much success - that's quite an achievement.

 

I'm sure Gaga will win it (the BRITs have shiiit taste) but Taylor winning would be a breath of fresh air.

Yeah in the eyes of people who easily buy into hype. Taylor has inspiration behind her lyrics which are far more witty and poetic than Lady "i wanna take a ride on your disco stick" GaGa :lol:

 

Anyway, i don't hate Gaga. I admire her for what she has achieved and Bad Romance, Paparazzi and especially Poker Face are great but a country singer hasn't won a BRIT (i think) so it would be fresh, new and different.

 

Also, great to see the pics from Ri's video. It looks like she's going with a zoo theme - zebras, leopards etc :lol:

As this is the BRITS, Gaga should win over Taylor. Gaga has been huge in the Britain, both with her singles and albums.

 

Empire of the Sun should win over both of em... however out of Taylor and GaGa then surely it has to be GaGa - Taylor Swift has to be the most boring new artist ever

I would not have a problem with your opinion if Taylor Swift could cut it live but her off key and off pitch performance at the 2010 Grammys was quite frankly an embarrassment:

 

 

I mean Carrie Underwood is far far far better live than that; and so is Kelly Clarkson when she goes country.

 

Hence, as Lady GaGa has proven herself to be a brilliant live performer as well as singer/songwriter in the female 21st Century David Bowie sense then I have to strongly disagree.

I really like both Lady GaGa & Taylor Swift (I have both "The Fame Monster" & "Fearless"), but I'd need to go with Lady GaGa (otherwise there isn't much in my signature being what it is), and I'm just such a massive fan of GaGa.

Eugh why the hell do people bang on about Taylor Swifts 'amazing' song-writing ability. Fukk me, I endured it through the Grammys and I just read it on here. :lol:

 

She's an awful, awful songwriter. It's as if she's picked up her 10-year old sisters diary, opened it to the page about 'boys she likes' and made a whole album out of it. Jeez.
