I actually think it's a great song for the record, very infectious and great use of the sample :lol:

Good to see timbalands album finally making a top 40 apperance, didnt expect it so high this week.

 

supermarkets have started stocking it for the first time finally, hence the rise in sales I expect, along with the rise in demand caused by the single I guess

Same thing happened to Keri! Got a Top 75 album, at first, but then a month or two after (When 'Knock You Down' started taking off over here) Supermarkets stocked it and bam a new peak inside the Top 40 :wub: (I think HMV will no longer be needed soon LOL :(. (As long as Supermarkets keep stocking albums!))

and Saturdays too - anyone wonder why Wordshaker had a 1 week surge back to the top 40 a few weeks back? I'm guessing supermarkets re-stocking it that week at a decent price (£7 I think) may have played a part (as well as Ego of course :P )

Ha! Yeah They need to bring the price down to £5 (Pixie Lott style) upon the release of 'Here Standing'! Then I'm pretty sure it'll go Top 20 at least. But I must be honest I honestly thought that was down to 'Ego' (that it returned to the Top 40) LOL. Didn't realise it was the week Supermarkets stocked it again at £7! LOL.

I agree - record companies seem a bit blind sometimes, surely selling another 25,000 copies at a fiver will be more profitable than selling 5,000 copies at a tenner :lol: I guess some artists are worried to decrease the price of a new-ish album that low in case it looks like a flop, but The Fame Monster was £5 in Asda all of last week and I'd hardly call it a bad business move if it sells more copies than usual out of it...

WOW! GaGa's company are on FIRE! Dropping it down to £5 the week of Brit Award wins and stuff?! :o Every act need GaGa's label! LOL

One shot has peaked at #6 i think so i'm sure they dont really mind, one shot has done really well and shot their album back in to top 10 even though its sold a million. wow at the success they've had, one thing is true, they have a very loyal fanbase.

 

Glad flodizz still #1, hope it can stay there, even though derulo's new song is great too :) and will probably overtake.

Most of the first weeks sales would have been because of that but from then on I doubt it would have made a difference.

Everyone keeps going on about that - but i can only see a maxium of 500 fans doing that meaning 2000 sales, nothing really compared to how much was sold. Does anyone really believe that 200,000 JLS fans would do that? Like really?

They will have to have five album sleeves for the next album which I think is out in November to keep those sales up.I hope the teen fans will not have lost interest by then. Leona up 1 that is good for her, I would love to see ballads make a comeback.

What does this mean? Another increase of 38% from last week after her 52% increase?
