Off the top of my head, the strange ones I recall are:

Agnes - Release Me: 3-3-6-8-16-44-55-54-48-54-66-60-64-61-65-57-57-60-1-3-8-13-11-2-1-2-2-3-4-9-17-24-24-27-29-36-37-41-47-46-57-56-61-65-70-59-51-49-57-45-48-46-45-40-45-49-49-49-54-OUT

Yohanna - Is It True?: 9-6-9-14-20-11-9-19-24-40-48-44-30-35-45-20-6-1-2-6-5-8-9-9-5-4-3-1-2-2-3-6-11-17-22-33-37-34-41-51-55-52-56-60-66-70-72-69-77-78-OUT

HURTS - Wonderful Life: 24-15-26-48-55-59-63-13-14-18-17-22-41-51-76-77-86-98-76-88-86-74-54-13-16-24-21-10-7-5-16-32-47-49-OUT

Armin Van Buuren feat. Sharon Den Adel - In And Out Of Love: 4-8-8-29-46-59-57-53-35-18-14-11-4-4-1-4-4-3-12-14-21-28-48-70-80-96-OUT

My chart is quite notorious for bizarre and lengthy chart runs though

Here's 10, my chart seems to have quite a few

Ke$ha - Tik Tok 28 [46-19-14-19-16-20-23-23-29-28-18-28-32-41-31-21-23-20-19-09-05-04-01-09-19-27-37-47-XX]

this went up and down my chart quite a few times and took 23 weeks to peak.

The Saturdays - Work 28 [15-13-23-42-42-37-25-13-11-08-05-03-04-09-07-02-01-02-01-02-03-01-09-16-30-34-42-47-XX]

this also had quite a yo-yo chart run taking 17 weeks to reach #1 falling and then returning 2 times afterwards.

Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone 26 [58-33-16-21-27-37-43-49-56-XX-48-20-16-15-11-10-13-13-13-12-06-08-03-03-12-26-46-XX]

this had 9 weeks in my chart as an album track and returned a few weeks later it then rose and stayed around 10-16 for 8 weeks and eventually peaked at #3 for two weeks.

Booty Luv - Say It 22 [18-18-18-35-07-08-15-21-36-33-32-29-28-29-23-23-29-25-18-14-27-48-XX]

this chart run was mainly due to the song premièring so early, months before the release date. Peaking early at #7 but only managed double that in it's release week and quickly fell out of the chart.

Lady GaGa Paparazzi 22 10-09-21-46-68-XX-58-16-12-17-35-40-44-37-13-07-04-03-06-08-17-33-49-XX

CBA to explain the rest, i'm off out

Doesn't happen alot with me cause I hate messy chart runs

#01 Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend [24-11-5-8-8-1-4-8-17-23-35]

#06 Cascada - Truly Madly Deeply [13-19-23-31-30-17-18-6-11-9-11-15-18-22-26-28-32-35-31-35]

#02 Usher - Love In This Club [18-11-6-9-10-2-5-6-7-10-8-12-12-17-20-23-26-33]

Thats all I could find tbh

Marina & The Diamonds - Hollywood 11-17-19-24-24-7-4-3-4 [it bounced up because I heard it a lot more, it grew on me & now I love it]

The Killers - A White Demon Love Song 5-20-20-1-1-2-3-1-1...[it bounced the week after I went to see "New Moon" at the cinema. At the moment, it's had about 18wks on chart. Keeps moving up and down, and could get #1 again when the "New Moon" DVD is released]

Susan Boyle - Wild Horses 1-OUT [if that counts as odd]

Ellie Goulding - "Starry Eyed" has also had quite a jump

This is probably the closest thing;

Jason Derülo - Whatcha Say [22-37-3-5-6-4-2-9-26-52-52-46-53-x] 13wks

Début at #22 based on first listen, stayed at #37 in memory, and then I started hearing it more and it jumped to #3. It fell to #5 then #6, and then started reclimbing reaching a new peak of #2... before freefalling to #9, then #26, then #52 in the aftermath of its release when I lost interest a bit. It reclimbed to 46 two weeks later for reasons I don't remember, before dropping back down to #53 and then out.

3OH!3 ft. Katy Perry - Starstrukk (10-15-17-10-12-11-12-06-08-08-07-03-06-11-)

Jay-Z ft. Mr Hudson - Young Forever (25-14-14-21-24-20-19-17-10-04-02-04-07-13-)

Daisy Dares You ft. Chipmunk - Number One Enemy (32-xx(3)-40-xx-35-30-)

  • 3 weeks later...
Oh who hasn't bounced in my charts? I swear none of my songs just fall - all the club bangers climb when I've been clubbing, all the soppy ones climb when I'm feeling emotional. That results in lots of uppy-downy chart runs.
  • 1 month later...
12. Broken Heels - Alexandra burke - [7] - (9,9,16,9,8,9,11,13,7,12,12,12) it jumped coz we had to sing it at school
  • 6 months later...

David Guetta feat. Rihanna - Who's That Chick (5,14,19,29,27,29,34,37,40,27,1) (11 weeks)

Entered high then fell down sharply, stayed around 30 then kept dropping then it made the big jump to number one when it was released as a single.

Black Eyed Peas - The Time (The Dirty Bit) (1,4,1,2,3,4) (6 weeks)

It's not an odd chart run yet, but because of X Factor last week I think we all know what's going to happen!

I'm currently posting my 2005 charts in the Archive forum. Three runs which aren't typical compared to my more recent charts:

Melanie C - Better Alone (#21, 16 weeks)

[39-36-36-33-33-31-25-22-21-25-21-33-xx-30-24-32-40]

8 weeks to peak at #21, peaked there twice, dropped out of the Top 40 quickly after peaking, then re-entered and climbed back as high as #24. 16 weeks for a single that didn't go Top 20 with me is pretty rare.

Destiny's Child - Cater 2 U (#5, 11 weeks)

[35-33-38-xx-39-33-27-13-10-05-14-31]

I don't recall many other singles dropping out of the chart from a Top 5 peak so quickly.

Jessica Simpson - These Boots Are Made For Walking (#6, 13 weeks)

[19-16-19-19-16-16-16-09-06-06-12-22-32]

7 weeks bouncing around the positions #16 and #19. Eventually made #6, then was in free-fall.

The ones I can think of are...

B.o.B feat. Rivers Cuomo – Magic - (28-24-30-28-9-10-7-11-5-10-6-10-21-25) (14 wks)

Far East Movement feat. The Cataracs & Dev – Like A G6 - (16-17-8-16-19-11-16-16) (8 wks)

The Ting Tings – Hands – (1-10-27-46-47-44-42) (7 wks)

Travie McCoy feat. Bruno Mars – Billionaire – (23-27-25-29-28-20-48-25-25-28-28-37-40-48-49) (15 wks)

But many of my charted songs have climbed at least once, so this is fairly common.

Main ones from my chart are:

Alanis Morissette – Underneath [6-4-1-8-20-22-26-23-18-13-27-30-31-27-31-12-]

Kelly Rowland - Rose Colored Glasses [2-3-5-10-15-19-16-21-28-9-25-39-xx]
