March 7, 201016 yr Ellie Goulding has a #1 album - I'm very happy for her. However, she said in an interview that Little Boots was overexposed by the time she released "Hands"... and Ellie wasn't?
March 7, 201016 yr Author Right... my overview on this week's singles chart since I haven't commented, awful top 3, the best of the new entries this week has to be Mumford & Sons which should have charted higher, Daisy just about passable for me, the rest of the new entries are just crap, Naughty Boy makes a killing of a classic record by White Town, Gramophonedzie I can dig but not so much, its different but nice... reminds me of Doop in some places. I can't see anything better to hit the top next week, maybe Tinie for another week :manson: , or the awful Rude Boy, sorry, its just my opinion, don't chuck a mental over it. McLean seems just about passable, could be another dark horse but its like another Jason Derulo again. Gabriella is OK, but it sounds like a SAW 80s throwback hit in some places, maybe its a good thing, and finally don't talk to me about Justin Bieber, shame I cannot find a even bigger manson :manson: Let's all download Goldfrapp, please, pretty please with a big cherry on top, make 'Rocket' the new #1 next week. :cheer: Phew!!!!!!!!!!!! Edits, I have to give a special mention to Ellie Goulding for her #1 album kudos to her, I did predict big things for her for 2010, at the end of 2009.

March 7, 201016 yr Top 40 scrape for Alphabeat's album :( glad Rated R has gone top ten now though, yes it's darker and different to Good Girl Gone Bad but it's a brilliant album in my opinion
March 7, 201016 yr and finally don't talk to me about Justin Bieber, shame I cannot find a even bigger manson :manson: Phew!!!!!!!!!!!! http://i47.tinypic.com/206d9ux.jpg The quality is a bit crap, but then again so is Justin Bieber's song.
March 7, 201016 yr Amazing for Jason Derülo in the albums! Brilliant to see Alicia still going strong after so many weeks, and nice to see Rihanna finally get a deserved (IMO :P) top 10 peak! :D also, people need to actually listen to Justin Bieber's new song. It's actually pretty great and tolerable! :o
March 7, 201016 yr Jason will definately drop alot next week, same with Ellie, imo. Happens with practically every album when it's first released. Hope Marina doesn't fall too much either, and Ke$ha re-enters the top 40 soon. Both good albums.
March 8, 201016 yr Great to see shraleen spiteri back in the charts, i hope the album can stay around for a bit and not plummet, i really didnt expect her single to make the top 75 so im well happy to see it top 75. Alphabeat dropped a few places from midweek positions and were lucky to hold top 40, id say its highly unlikely the Uk will see a third album from them, Rihanna finally makes top 10 with rated r, i really like the chart run of her album i love seeing album get a peak positions months after there release rather than peaking in its week of release, i think a chart run like Rihanna;s is more exciting.
March 8, 201016 yr Xanadu made it :cheer:  wish the album went top 10 though :( the album should have been higher imo 'Xanadu' disappointing at #71 - it's all over the tv via that (annoying) HeartFm ad, but no show on the airplay chart
