Edward Maya = Eva Simons esque flop I predict.

Nah, Radio 1 are already playing it on Floorfillers even without a release date (which they never seem to do). Will be big.

Maybe Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Bittersweet? Or is she so 00's now?

I wouldn't rule out Glee's My Life Would Suck Without You -

The Audience figures are reaching new peaks with each episode and this is the last song of the series and played and played at one of the must see moments.

So could do well IMO.

Telephone

Hopefully #1, it's great

This Ain't A Love Song

Not as good as their old stuff, and I don't see it making #1

Do-Wah-Do

I'd like it to get #1, but I doubt it

I Need You Tonight

Never heard of it

Until You Were Gone

I really like this, and I think it has a chance of #1 since Chipmunk has been #1 before

Once

Love this  #1 I hope, and I think it has a very good chance

Solo

Hope it won't get #1, but after "Replay", you never know :puke2:

Hey Soul Sister

Love this. Could be big with radio support, but I don't see it getting quite to #1

Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart

Not heard it yet, but Alicia is pretty big at the moment

Pyromania

If Radio 1 play-list it, it should get #1. Really good

Stereo Love

Love this as well. Hard to tell how well it will do as we don't know yet if radio will support it, but probably won't reach #1 :(

Yeah, you missed out Plan B - I can seriously see that being a #1.

This... I thought exactly that when it was on the radio just now

I think the three big tunes over the next few months will be:

Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone

Train - Hey, Soul Sister

Lady Antebellum - Need You Now

I can see them all reaching the top 2; and staying there for quite a while.

Lady Antebellum

I think the new single from Kylie should easily get to #1 :o watch this space

Yep, she has been away for a while, I've missed her... If she comes back without a big tune she could do a Madonna (as with 4 Minutes)

I think a few songs off the radar at the moment with the right buzz and promotion could be huge in the next two/three months:

I'm thinking definitely:

Drake - Over

Glee Cast - Vogue

MGMT - Flash Delirium

Possibly, but could just as easily bomb

Kelis - Acapella (produced by David Guetta)

And as yet unheard new material from Robyn; Christina Aguilera; Mark Ronson; M.I.A. & Maroon 5.

Come June; we'll hopefully see the FaceBook campaign to get the Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen reach #1 in time for the Queen's Jubilee; followed by the 2010 revival of Three Lions by Skinner; Baddiel & The Lightning Seeds; followed by the new Kylie single produced by Stuart Price..

Plan B is almost certainly heading for #1 (hopefully after Telephone gets there next week if not this one), but if I'm completely honest I far preferred End Credits and Stay Too Long to She Said. But his name and hype has been growing rapidly and I'm 99% sure he'll do it in two weeks time. My views on the others posted here;

Telephone

This week or next, fingers crossed - please go away Tinie :(

This Ain't A Love Song

I've always hated them with a passion, so whilst their fans have gone off them, this is the first song of theirs I've ever liked! Hope it does well, I predict #4

Do-Wah-Do

Love this and after the disappointment of Foundations being 16 copies away from #2 (:drama:) she deserves it with this. I predict #3-5 though.

I Need You Tonight

Not a fan of this really - relies too heavily on the sample - heard it all before. Low top ten/high top twenty possibly? Hope it won't do that well.

Until You Were Gone

Top 5 for certain, possible #1 considering he's hot property at the moment

Once

Not sure about this! I'm not seeing a #1 for it, maybe #3 or #4

Solo

Not heard but I expect it will go top 5

Hey Soul Sister

I think this is excellent, it's essentially I'm Yours 2.0 and we'll all be sick of it by the end of the summer. Maybe not a #1 but a long runner for sure

Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart

Just stunning, I fear this will do less well than the two inferior (in my opinion) singles that preceded it but that's fair enough, she's sold a lot of albums now

Pyromania

I had thought possible #1 for this but the hype seems to have died, and I don't like it quite as much as their other big singles...

Stereo Love

If this got enough support I see no reason why it can't be as big as Hot...top 10 for certain

Telephone - I think this has a very good shot, the next 2 weeks don't really have any major releases so this and rude boy seem like the only candidates which could nab it from Tinie.

This Ain't A Love Song - No where near as good as their early singles and I think people have got a bit bored with SFG. Tail end of top 10 I think.

Do-Wah-Do - Very disapointed with this, no where near as good as Foundations & Pumpkin Soup, depends how strong her fan base are. I think it might scrape top 5 if its lucky.

I Need You Tonight - This could be a surprise #1 IMO, it has that slight novelty factor which us brits seem to love, massive in clubs and getting good airplay.

Until You Were Gone - Chipmunk has a massive fanbase and this is definately one of his better singles, whether this gets to #1 depends on how much hype Diana Vickers gets, pretty much guaranteed to be top 2.

Once - Diana is very popular and tv and radio are giving this a lot of love, however it is released in just over a month so people might be bored of it by then and tv and radio won't be playing it as much. It has a good shot, its only real competition is Chipmunk.

Solo - I hate this so my opinion is probably a bit biased, but I don't think it has a chance. It might scrape top 10 if people are still interested in him after Replay.

Hey Soul Sister - This seems to be very popular internationally so will probably replicate that success here. If it gets the right promo, it has a good shot.

Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart - I would love it if this was a number 1, but the albums popularity could be a hindrance to the singles sales. It wouldn't surprise me if this does a Love Game and just scrapes top 20.

Pyromania - Haven't heard this yet but after ETD, people seem to have gone off Cascada and radio & TV don't seem to want to touch her here. If she can win them back maybe, otherwise I think we have another Estelle on our hands.

Stereo Love - Haven't heard this yet but going by what others have said about it, it seems it could be a hit. Will have to check this one out.EDIT: Just heard it, yep definately sounds like a potential #1, we do love our dance music.

I'm a MUCH bigger fan of Lady GaGa than Alicia Keys but if Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart only does as well as Love Game, it will be a complete travesty. These songs aren't even comparable in quality - one is an absolute masterpiece that deserves to be #1 for weeks, the other was a well deserved low top 20.

I completely agree, if Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart had been the lead single off her latest album then I think it would be regarded along with Fallin' & No One in her top three biggest and best singles, as I could easily have imagined it spending six weeks atop the US Billboard singles charts.

I totally agree in terms of quality of song, but after Paparazzi everyone thought anything gaga releases would be massive which Lovegame proved wrong. I think people expect TSWABH to do well due to ESOMP2, but by the time this has been released the album would have probably sold around 500k if not more. When it comes to charts (not just UK), quality of song is rarely the main factor in getting a number 1.

Atm I am seeing:

Tinie Tempah

Lady Gaga & Beyonce

Lady Gaga & Beyonce

Kate Nash

Kate Nash

Chipmunk feat Esmee Denters

Cascada

ugh, just heard that Professor Green 'Need You Tonight' song that's being tipped for #1 by some people in full

it's like Blazin' Squad's brothers got together to murder a classic especially tailored for back of the bus chavs :drama: #1 beckons :magic:

:puke2: Just heard Train's Hey Soul Sister... It's number 1 in Austaralia, :puke: Also, I'd like to add Lady Antebellum Need You Now  It just sounds like a hit, it could well be the Love Story of this year, and have similair sucsess

...the Queen's Jubilee isn't until 2012

Please NO, or else I walk on GLASS -_-

It's not for the jubilee, it's for her birthday

Would like SFG to get to #1 just cos it would be a travesty if it didn't outpeak Elvis Ain't Dead (ugh) by at least a few places and "She Said" has underwhelmed me after the excellent "Stay Too Long". Kate Nash has a pretty good chance, Diana Vickers more so but tbh if "Empire State of Mind (Pt. II)" can hang around in the top 10 like a bad smell then "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" deserves #1.
