This time last year, had you told me that Scouting For Girls would have a number 1 single on iTunes and have double the popularity bars that GaGa has, I'd have probably laughed in your face and told you to stfu or something LOL! :o

BUT WOW!

he needs to make top 40 though on itunes asap to make top 40 officially, its climbing to slow. has he got any promo planned?

difference is telephone is off a massive massive massive selling album, this aint a love song isnt off an album thats out now and sold over a million copies so obviously has an advantage, also higher on airplay &new on sunday.

I think Gardner will peak in a week or two. Going up slowly but surely...
Have SFG and Plan B got CD's out? Or are they both downloads?

Yep, they're on physical too, like Alex :(

USHER #5 :o WTF there  gonna be a tight chart next week then
Ohhh, I hope Plan B gets to #1!!

The only way Plan B could potentially get to no. 1 now is if the EP is selling really well in the iTunes album chart and if he has very strong physical sales.

What makes Scouting For Girls success all the more surprising is that I've not once seen the video played on any of the music channels over the last fortnight. I've seen the video for 'She Said' loads in comparison. I've even seen Yeasayer 'O.N.E.' a few times on MTV2. That's a great track. Where are Yeasayer on iTunes?

Usher is doing really well I hope he can do a bit better than #5

Heading into the finale of Glee (with an hour to go):

[232] 227| 'My Life Would Suck Without You'

[371] 492| 'Don't Rain On My Parade'

[546] 525| 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going'

[903] 960| 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'

[???] 649| 'My Life Would Suck Without You' (Kelly Clarkson's Version)

Will be interesting to see how MLWSWY will do - it is the climax of the show so we could have another DSB possibly?

I hope it does well anyway :D

LOL! Same here to be honest.

I'm surprised at how well they're doing. I used to like their music, but now I just find them too consistent and predictable - all their songs sound similar, and I just wish they'd evolve and set the bar higher as artists. It's still a good enough song though, if not a little bland.

Will be interesting to see where they chart come Sunday. Hopefully Gaga can manage to keep hold of the #1 spot! ;)

Go Plan B :D

I have a feeling he'll only be #3 in the first mids, but then overtake GaGa by Sunday.

Do people really expect MLWSWY to take off and go Top 5 after tonight? :o I would LOVE for it to do that, but I don't think it'll be as big as it's being made out to be... I do sincerely hope i'm wrong though. It's my favourite "Glee Song"...
Im no fan of SFG, but im glad for somthing a little diffrent at No.1, so far this year the chart has been abit....similar.
