BuzzJack, despite some shoddy results in this rate has actually managed to get a decent top 10. Theres nothing in there for me to complain about too much. Shayne Ward is debatable but you cant get everything perfect I suppose.

 

Thank god Vickers missed the top 10 though. The girl has had one fairly average single at best. Joe McElderry aswell, ridicolous that he was this high.

 

Poor Maria Lawson. Glad she got that high but its a shame she never got more sucsess.

Yeah to be fair I don't think there's a lot in that top 10 to complain about.

 

I'd maybe have placed JLS higher than Alexandra - although I liked her in the X Factor, she's yet to come out with a tune that I like, whereas JLS at least had One Shot.

No one sings like Jennifer Hudson she has an amazing voice and can outsing virtually everyone on the Top Ten.Her vocal range alone is hard to beat and she should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Diana.

See I did like Joe in X Factor (think I voted for him a couple of times), I just HATE The Climb. I'm still mildly interested to see what he comes out with. I haven't decided if they'll turn him into a British Justin Bieber or just another one man Westlife type act.

Thanks for doing this. One or two surprises. Nice to see a few of the contestants from Pop Idol 1 appearing quite high. For me that top 10 bar a couple were the best pool of talent from any of these shows, though my fav after Will was Hayley Everts. I expect Leona or Girls Aloud to top the list because of the makeup of this forum not because I believe they are the most talented. Will should be the highest male but in my opinion should top the pile.

Laura White came 7th in the fifth series of X Factor and was very much recognised as a shock exit I believe. She was probably one of the strongest vocally imo but oh well. Since coming out of X Factor she managed to get a record deal and scored a Top 40 hit with 'You Should Have Known' last year. She is working on new material as we speak apparently.

I don't know too much about her as she isn't my sorta scene but I do love 'Before He Cheats' and 'Last Name' ... that's about it though. She is yet to release any material in the UK either.

Glad Shayne got 10th place. I was quite fond of his material and it'll be interesting to see how the new stuff sounds. But he hasnt done overly well considering something like 8 million voted for him or something?

 

Adore Jennifer Hudson. Spotlight was a fantastic song and her album was very good too. She deserves every bit of recognition and award she got for Dreamgirls aswell, if not just for the And I Am Telling You performance.

Shayne Ward deserved to be the highest charting male :( Although at the time I wasn't a fan of his stuff, I must say looking back, he had some very good songs.

 

JHud is great. 'If This Isn't Love' deserved to be a bigger hit than it was though. She has a great voice though. But I find her version of 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' to be too shouty personally. But yeah. Deserved to come high in this countdown. I also think her new era is going to be absoloutely huge for her! Surely number 1 on the albums chart in America, selling over 500k first week? 'Jennifer Hudson' gave her alot of recognition and bought in alot of fans for her.

 

Hope Will is next, but I have an awful feeling he's coming Top 3! :(
