So 'Poco Poco' placed in 24th place for the 181st edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest. Considering 115 contests had passed since Juranabaijan's last entry, the country is delighted with a top half placement!

Better still, we would have been 2nd (unless Hushkanukia had managed more points with their replacement, of course) if we were quick enough with our first choice... Can't complain at that!

I have a feeling this will change for you in 184, but you never know! (there's a pop song in there somewhere, despite me describing it as alt-y 🤷‍♂️)

In Juranabaijan, The Kids Are saying that this could well be My First Time winning the Buzzjack Song Contest (or making the Top 3, even)... They're probably wrong, but give our song 'The Kids Are' by My First Time a listen as our fate is no longer in our hands!

This entry sees us return to a guitar based sound for the first time since our comeback... We would describe the track as a indie-pop-bop-floorfiller, it has a dancey riff in the verses and an anthemic chorus; this song is #1 in Juranabaijan right now and we hope other people love it as much as we do!

My First Time Qualify!

Juranabaijan have had their visa approved for entry into the République d'Áskorza to participate in the grand final of the 184th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest in Morpeth Cove.

This marks the first time Juranabaijan have qualified for the final in four consecutive contests (without skipping any). Mayor Juranamo is said to be thrilled at this news, extending gratitude to any countries that voted for 'The Kids Are'!

Juranabaijan are hoping to improve on the 19th place that Ally Salort achieved, in the last edition, with 'I've Never Met Her' - this is currently Juranabaijan's highest placement since returning to the contest at the beginning of the year!
