I just heard Your Body Is A Machine by The Good Natured on a Home and Away trailer on Channel 5 :o I thought she/the song was completely unknown, nice to hear it elsewhere!

Now that Glee has it's own forum, how is it decided as to which songs are banned under the "first 2 singles from an album" rule? :o

I'd say the finale songs from the first two episodes of each season, if a rule was to be implemented for them.

Or just ban all of them to prevent easy top 3s? ^_^

Well 'Don't Stop Believing' did finish third, and that was before Glee blew up in the UK. :P

A Glee song hasn't been entered since XXII. Why whould having a forum make it more likely for there to be more. The fact they have had 39 top 100 UK hits and only one has been entered in the contest shows that they aren't a big risk...

I'd back an all out ban on Glee being entered into BJSC if I'm honest, it's not like anyone would be discovering anything. All of us who love it watch it, and people who don't like it have made up their minds by now I'm sure, and aren't likely to be swayed by anything entered here.

I would support an outright ban on Glee

 

But I am eyeing up their GaGa covers :kink:

No glee please...I can't stand them for loading the charts and let alone authorizing them to be part of an amazing BJSC.

I would second the all out Glee ban. I know they're generally pretty generic covers, but I still wince if I see someone has them reserved. Luckily we've only had the one sent before. ^_^

I love Glee. But I back a ban in principle.

 

But more importantly with the episodes being shown in America a few days before being shown in the UK, then entering a Glee song would be impractical, like entering a song in the current UK Top 40.

I am 99% behind the Glee 100% ban, thing. As long as all the Quinn tracks are made eligable to send :kink:

 

Then I don't have to worry about reserving "Glee Cast" each and every time a great cover of theirs leaks. (ala, MLWSWY/LAP/RJR/TEOTH etc...)

If we don't have a Glee ban i may just have to send a Quinn track to the next contest.

 

For charitable reasons of course, Quinn doesn't have enough loons
