I am surprised to see none of the Eurovision songs in the charts. Last year several of the entries made it into the top 100 the week following ESC:

10 ALEXANDER RYBAK / FAIRYTALE

27 JADE EWEN / IT'S MY TIME

49 YOHANNA / IS IT TRUE

85 ALEX SWINGS OSCAR SINGS / MISS KISS KISS BANG

100 WALDO'S PEOPLE / LOSE CONTROL

I think the mids will be very different tomorrow- its the bank holiday effect

Lena and Miley will be in tomorrow, and maybe Glees BR but I think that wont do very well as its available on the album- big mistake from them there

Have no idea how Justin Bieber's made it in, werent the shops closed for Bank holiday and its flopping on itunes?

I would agree but this is how the UK charts have gone in the last 12 months. 'Boom Boom Pow', 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Bad Romance' and 'Nothin' On You' all topping the chart then reclimbing back again. I prefer genuine popular songs to get to no. 1 and stay there. Therefore tracks like 'Never Leave You', 'The Climb', 'Killing In The Name' and 'Dirtee Disco', imo, should have been #2 hits instead. I'd include 'Bonkers' too but at least that track managed two weeks of no. 1 rather than being a one week wonder.

the reason for this is the changeable rules for releases, whereas some songs are available straight away (big us acts and some newer acts) others rise the charts and gain in popularity whereas big artists of the moment aim for one release date and their promo is focused on this - such as dizzee rascal who releases songs only after long periods of marketing - eg 6 weeks radio 1 playlisting and a month after the video is added to mtv therefore the sales are upfront but not prolonged on the itunes chart so there are songs which last for ages and others which fall quickley after a high peak!!

Wow buble back at number 1 i wonder will he hold on, i think crazy love stands a great chance of eventually selling 2 million copies. Was hoping for some eurovision songs to crack the charts but its unlikely as the chunk of eurovision downloads would have been done saturday night or sunday.

Good to see Dizzee Rascal top 20 again in the album chart, is this the normal version of is it the deluxe version does anyone know?

So I say option 3 :P

Yes, #3 please, need to know if Lena made it :snif:

Lena not in the top 40 today. Very odd/strange. Miley @ #20+3. Guetta 2+2.

Both GaGlee tracks top 40 (PF 20+6; BR 30+8), Alicia up a place from yesterday and Aggro Santos up 2 from Sunday thanks to BGT which has completely buggered my chances in the MAIN ;) :P (sorry, Ben) prediction game this week ;)

Lena not selling well on other download sites probably?
