You know, I think you're actually trying to start an argument with me. Whatever I write you seem to be interpreting it differently and adding more to it on purpose! If someone reserves an artist with the INTENTION of not letting anyone else have that artist, well of course that means you've blocked that artist wouldn't it?! But if you've reserved that artist IN CASE something good leaks, than that is completely different.

Nobody said a word about blocking artists on purpose here before you brought it up. The point wasn't that tbh, it was all about allowance of changes afaik. These cases happen like once every 3 months, not more often. Plus you can't really do anything about it at all. Except maybe going straight onto confirmation, or allowing people to reserve artists for one song they want (if there're two artists featuring in a song - then reserve two artists, if one - then one, etc). I don't see that happening tbh.

Aaaaand I am hardly the person to love to start/have an arguement with somebody so don't take personally, i just state what i think.

Fair enough, but I sthill think it's a bit unserious to both hold on to artists you're never going to use, and to confirm a song early when you're not quite sure.

 

 

Gooddelta brought up the thought about freeing artists when someone confirms, and I purely stated here my opinion about holding on to artists that - for some reason - you'll never use, or never MAY use at all. I never said anything about reserving just for prevention, which you did, first, technically.

You may not love to start an argument, but you did not JUST to state your opinion, I don't believe that. There is more to this post that suggests you were trying to make an argument than not. Look at that wacko smiley. Quite rude and uneccessary. Then that question at the end. Was that an opinion of yours? There is nothing reluctant about that at all!

 

Well, you may hold on to artists you *might* use having them as a plan b, not everybody keeps artists to prevent them from being sent at all :wacko: And you could be 100% sure but the next day some gorgeous song surfaces and you're feeling completely won over by the feeling 'this is my BJSC entry'.

What I do take more personally is that when I was trying to introduce you to a song (actually two) which I thought you'd might like (!) in your national thread, you ignored it completely :huh: You could at least have the courtesy to say that you didn't like the song if you didn't. I'd certainly outlive that tbh -_-

He's a very appealing rap artist though :wub: The song has just been in the Top 75 - maybe that's why it's 'cheap' :o (I don't think it is whatsoever btw)

Oh, I'm not saying he's not a good artist (although I dislike Over). Stornoway's Zorbing has just gone Top 75 - that's being sent, but I wouldn't call that cheap tbh. :)
