Did I just hear a reference to The Killers in T.I.'s verse? :o

Oh good. I love Diddy. But this song is not electro hip-hop soul or whatever he said it's crap. :puke: It's as bad Timbaland's recent work.

Hello everyone

Im here- and quite disappointed <_< , but will now be in chart mode ^_^

I heard this a long time ago on AI, took a long time to be released over here- not a bad song

20  (from 15) Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart [D]

Chart Run: 71-xx(11 wks)-63-31-23-20-13-13-7-9-15-20 [11 wks]

Release date: 23-05-2010

Format: download only single

Label: J Records

Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. Only 20 years old at the time of the album's release, Keys already seemed poised for a major career built upon her soulful voice and classically trained piano chops. While hip-hop played a much bigger role on her second effort, 2003's THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, it was a smash nonetheless, and subsequent recordings have further pushed the boundaries of R&B - HMV

try sleeping with the light on

Scissors will be #12 at minimum, more likely #11. No chance of top 10 unfortunately :(

Fantastic 5 Weeks Top 40 for Keri and now 9 weeks top 40 for Alicia

Regarding 'All Night Long' I expect it to drop in next Sundays chart and hopefully, as next Sunday is when it'll hopefully benefit from the "T4 on the Beach" effect :kink:

Brash, driven pop singer and songwriter Ke£ha kicked her career into gear when she came into contact with Dr. Luke (a co-writer and co-producer of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone"), who was impressed with some demo recordings. Ke£ha penned the Veronicas' "This Love" and later contributed background vocals to Britney Spears' "Lace and Leather," both of which were released in 2008, but the biggest turning point came in 2009, when she contributed vocals to Flo Rida's Dr. Luke-produced "Right Round," a number one Hot 100 hit. She subsequently signed to RCA; Animal, her debut album, was released in 2010 and reached the top of the Billboard 200, led by the number one single "TiK ToK." - HMV
