If it's like this tomorrow morning i'll download it. I can't be bothered turning the light on to find my credit card to top up on iTunes.

Love that a clearly overlooked girl group are reaping the rewards from an iTunes f*** up :kink: Up to #19 now
Posted this on DigitalSpy, someone just bought it. And judging by the comments on it on iTunes alot of others have purchased it tonight too.
PS y'all should buy Hook Me Up purely for Revenge Is Sweeter [Than You Ever Were].

Spammage over.

Absolutely, standout track of the album. i like it even more than Untouched!

Its being spoken about on PJ and MSE too  Someone on MSE said they had never heard of the band but bought it anyway as they had some iTunes credit left

The whole album is absolutely solid gold pop apart from 'I Don't Wanna Wait'. It's a shame they have to get recognition this way but I don't care, they deserve this recognition and I'm glad to see them getting it when they wouldn't have done otherwise.

They're really talented and lovely girls, and a world class pop act.

I LOVE 'I Don't Wanna Wait'!

I'm not keen on 'Popular' :o

it's even cheaper if you just steal it for free tbh. Warner Bros dont even deserve 79p.

Don't actually albums with the price lower than £3.00 go into the special 'Budget Album Chart' though? I knew it happened to Girls Aloud Greatest Hits and some Take That album if I remember correctly...

Edit: oh, and the Rage Against the Machine topped the Budget Album chart too this and last year! That's why their album wasn't in the main chart despite 500k selling single in one week even because of the campaign.

Yes, but that was based on physical sales. I have no idea what it does on downloads. Maybe it will chart as a single, like the Glee Madonna EP almost did

Surely that only counts if the price is cut everywhere?

An album with 17 tracks surely can't chart as a single.

Maybe when the album is partially cheaper than £3.00 the sales that cheaper that price are excluded? But they count in overall sales like other 'Budget Album' sales. Just a guess but I can't imagine that OCC will just let the album with the price £0.79 chart with all its sales in the main album chart!

Dosen't that only happen when the physical version has a dealer price of £3 or less? And a few years ago iTunes f***ed up with the pricing of the Ultrabeat album and sold it for the first few days of release at £1.99....The sales were counted and the album ended up entering at #11 on the official charts.

But the album price for Ultrabeat wasn't that low everywhere, was it? So Ultrabeat has charted basing just on the normal sales and not the iTunes ones?

But anyway, we'll see on Sunday (or on Thursday when C+ brings top-200s). I think someone will tell us if Veronicas go top-200 this week. Surely those sales in iTunes should be enough at least for this?
