One interesting thing is how different people are repositioning themselves. This guy was a White House spokesman who said repeatedly Israel are acting within international law, have a right to defend themselves and arenโ€™t committing war crimes.

Heโ€™s now saying he always thought they were committing war crimes he was just giving the White House view.

Which is very similar to the Nuremberg defence.

What is that 11-year-old going to think about Israel as he grows up? That's why Israel's murderous campaign is so insane. It just stirs up further hatred against their state.

He has undermined his whole ethos of anti-war when you allow massacres that really werenโ€™t necessary. Dropping bombs on tents of dozens of people is obscene then knowing itโ€™ll overwhelm hospitals th

I've noticed a change too, news organisations are reporting on Israeli atrocities more often with less (but not entirely absent) passive language. For UK politics, Starmer and Labour also seem to be adjusting their language. For instance at PMQs, Starmer would always shoot down questions that referenced there being a genocide with language indicating that the questioner was wrong on that assumption. This week, two MPs called it a genocide but rather than do what he has done before, Starmer didn't rebuff that, instead talking at length about the urgency of the humanitarian crisis and that he was quote 'appalled by Israel's recent actions'.

It is a slight but noticeable change. Germany's also just recently had more people sympathise with Palestine than Israel for the first time over the course of the conflict. International pressure seems to be building against the Netanyahu government.

Israel is accused of the gravest war crimes in Gaza

Distinguished lawyers, senior humanitarians and diplomats tell Jeremy Bowen why they are increasingly concerned about the catastrophe inside Gaza.

The boat Greta and a couple of activists are on, Madleen, was intercepted by the Israeli military and the crew are now missing ๐Ÿ‘€

Of course they are. Hamas arenโ€™t the only part to this war who kidnap people and take them hostage. Though it must be said the Hamas hostages usually look better fed and taken care of than those who end up in Israeli hands

The crazy thing is if they did stuff like this at the start it would have never got to this point.

UK sanctions Israeli ministers over Gaza comments

Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich will both face a travel ban, the UK says.

Looking very much like the US is planning to attack Iran shortly. Talks broke down. The US have begun moving military personnel out of Iraq and neighbouring countries and Trump just keeps saying they canโ€™t have a nuclear weapon over and over when asked about the updates.

Honest to god who the f*** are the USA to tell ANY other country they cannot have nuclear weapons? They are the country that used a nuclear bomb to the most devastating consequences, if anything it should be THEM who are not allowed nuclear weapons!

Here here! Thought one thing about Trump was that he wouldnโ€™t get involved with these issues which have nothing to do with them.

Iโ€™ve got to admit the hypocrisy of Iran crying to the UN asking the Security Council to condemn when theyโ€™ve voted against every single last resolution about their pal russias invasion of Ukraine has given me a stitch from laughing so hard.

You reap what you sow. They clearly voted over the last 3 years to show that sovereignty is not important and that a neighbour can invade if they invent a fictional story about feeling โ€žthreatenedโ€œ and now theyโ€™re crying about their sovereignty being disrespected by a neighbour who has invented a story about feeling threatened. Honestly even the onion would have thought that was a bit on the nose

Iran has a big problem as its rhetoric is always 100/100 but now if it doesnโ€™t respond or gets bullied into a deal itโ€™ll look supremely weak but if they donโ€™t make one Israel is going to treat them like they did Lebanon and the only things theyโ€™re capable of truly attacking are US bases in IRAQ and such and if they do that the US will launch a full on assault on their regime. So itโ€™s a very tricky lose/lose/lose situation for them

Itโ€™s essentially a war right now between Israel and Iran I mean itโ€™s not conventional or all out war yet but not far away

It looks like Israel desperately want regime change to kill the ayatollah and Trump thinks he can just bully Iran into a deal and would rather that then fully taking out the regime. One of the two will happen as Iran have no air defences and most of their top commanders have been taken out. Theyโ€™ll run out of missiles in two weeks and Israel is intercepting 95% of them. Considering this is a war 40 years in the making Iran werenโ€™t really very prepared

I think they were very well prepared. They established so many proxies, including in Gaza, and have thoussnds upon thousands of domestically produced drones and cruise and ballistic missiles. This is why they started firing at Isrsel months ago. Isrsel was preparing for the war by dismantling its proxies. Irs proxies in Yemen wasted their missiles firing at ships, and Isrsel declared war on Hamas, Lebanon and took our proxies in Syria.

In terms of air defence they didnโ€™t calculate Israel would try to eliminate that to get anywhere? They didnโ€™t have contingency plans? It seems very basic.

Iran is in an incredibly humiliating position. They have the strongest rhetoric ever but theyโ€™re capable of little and canโ€™t defend their skies and their top people are being picked off easy.

Trumpโ€™s latest comments is just making talks impossible. Can you imagine how weak the Ayatollah would look agreeing to a deal under these circumstances?

And he is hiding and completely quiet. Itโ€™s such a lose/lose position. The only thing Iโ€™d say is regime change in Iran wouldnโ€™t exactly be a bad thing. The people there have wanted it for a long time.

They didnโ€™t calculate in an air war Israel might go for their air defences??

Might make me sound bad as Iโ€™ve no love for the Iranian regime but Iโ€™m glad they are giving them some of their own medicine for a change over the past few nights. Even if it does take 20 drones for one to hit due to the iron dome!

They didn't realise Israel hsd such advanced tactics snd weaponry to disable it in a few days. They were relying on overwhelming missile snd drone strikes from Irsn and proxies to win.
