Wednesday: New releases in the Top 1000 (singles, album tracks, songs cheery picked from compilations):

492. 9PM (Till I Come) - ATB :ne:

Surprised anyone needs to download this, it's a token feature on almost every compilation going, I must have it over 30 times on various CD's, no joke

A classic though, and one of my favourite ever songs

OMG..

RUMER - GO SLOW now at #11 in albums on pre-order.

Who is she I hadn't heard of her before but her voice is amazing and suits the song.

I hope she can get to #1, it would make a nice chance from all the current stuff getting to number.

I love how everyone believes the Saturdays are in danger of being dropped because the single is #3 when nobodies mentioned how Tinchy Stryder is failing more.

She sounds like Karen Carpenter imo - incredibly different song to anything else out at the moment. Looks like it could be a bit of a shock hit if it's #11 on albums pre-orders already :o I don't remember anybody being that high up since Cheryl's Fight For This Love...

cant see the sats being #1 in tomorrows mid weeks if they are be by a very small amount i think they will be #2 on fridays mid weeks and could even end up #3 by sunday if eminem keep raising like they are i wanted the sats to get there first #1 too but obv not ment to be

You should give a try to punctuation marks, it would make your posts understandable. :)

Tinchy has had numerous #1s. + is hardly failing being in top 10.

Sats wont be dropped but they will be if the album doesnt sell. People thought/think having the lead #1 single would have helped, (which it maybe would have) but we just have to wait and see how the album does.

That's true. I think they'll both be fine. Nowadays, artists can just do a good collaboration to get back into the spotlight. Tinchy would have no problem doing that, if all comes to the worst, as he's got so many connections.

I noticed that was back too  and Set You Free still floating around in the top 1000, as ever, too! The classics never die, even if radio barely ever play them...

Both will be fine, its seems the Saturday detractors are almost as bad as the Saturday overhypers.

Interesting that Tinchys last single, the lead from his new album only got to #67..was that actually a proper release?

i wanted staurdays to be #1 gazoink  i think they deserve to do well & really hope their album does well.

Yep. they'll never die tbh. Also, today was the first time I hadn't seen Satellite in the Top 1000 since the Eurovision. :(

Well it doesn't matter, they're still going to have sold the exact same amount regardless of whether they end up at 1,2,3, or 4 it just depends on whether Flo or Emianna sell more. For the industry it will be about sales.

For the industry it is also about position though too (sales mainly obv). If you watched the saturdays on this morning they were desperate for #1, they're going to be really disapointed, but i'm sure they'll be pleased too as they will have high sales.

Take It Off making an appearance. :D

Yeahhh I love this song, One of my fav's from the album

Ohhh My lord Rumer's at #8 now :o

God I hope this gets to #1 it's beautiful.

But why were they desperate for a no1? So they could go around saying they were no1 selling artists. The truth is, nobody else really cares, to most people it's just a number. Nobody dislikes a song because it got to no2 rather than no1. You wouldn't not buy an album just because the lead single only got to no2 rather than no1.

^ It's not going to get to #1  Being at #8 on the itunes album chartm its probably only selling a few thousand, so may make an apearance in the 30s.
