August 18, 201016 yr Author I assume the Radio 1 chart update this afternoon will include the iTunes data? That's what I'm hoping for, but something in the back of my mind I don't think they will if apple data was not applied yesterday, just have to wait it out.
August 18, 201016 yr saturdays are number 1 on itunes so there must have sold more if itunes data is missing!
August 18, 201016 yr I find what The Saturdays are doing to be very cheap and tacky but good on them for making the top 5 I suppose. I don't think they deserve the hype they get on here but I do think they may still surprise us yet. I personally thought Girls Aloud were over after the Chemistry era but they just continued to get bigger and bigger so it just goes to show you can't really write off any artist :P Obviously GA's material is FAR better but you get the gist of my point. And yay for Iron Maiden. Not a fan personally but I can appreciate. Tis always good to see some good rock at the top of the charts. Surprised The Hoosiers are underperforming after their debut album did so well. I expected them to be #2 at least. yea girls aloud material is way better and even all their albums were success, and they did keep getting bigger and bigger!

Hmm weird, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if their chart update looks different to what's here Edited August 18, 201016 yr by kutox
August 18, 201016 yr Wednesday Update Top 40 Only Apple iTunes data is missing In other words 'ignore this chart as it is meaningless'? :P I wonder what R1 will do this afternoon for their midweek rundown, if their data is missing iTunes too? Edited August 18, 201016 yr by vidcapper
August 18, 201016 yr Author To me the chart looks like no apple sales have been added for 2 days. Its basically a physical chart, Eminem & Rihanna is #1 because its available from other download sites. It just makes more sense as Ash has not moved at all from yesterday. So Radio 1 could actually be announcing a physical chart this afternoon  One way of looking at this, Roll Deep is definitely #1 without doubt, with iTunes data. It goes to show iTunes data has the biggest share of all download sites, without iTunes data makes the chart obselete.
August 18, 201016 yr How do things like this even happen? Surely it can't be that hard for Apple to send their data over.
August 18, 201016 yr I hope Apple forget to send their data in all week which would make Eminem/Rihanna #1 :kink: LOL JK :P Nice to see 'Rated R' still in the Top 15 in the albums ^_^ Kylie falling quick though =/

There must be an error somewhere with the sales tally or they are unable to source their sales at the moment. I just hope The Sats can break 20k this week with Headlines.
August 18, 201016 yr Hm Rated R the one that everyone was calling a flop is still hanging around nearly a year later with only 2 hit singles. I am especially referring to that little bitch on That grape Juice. Can anyone else not stand him?
August 18, 201016 yr Hm Rated R the one that everyone was calling a flop is still hanging around nearly a year later with only 2 hit singles. Russian Roulette, Rude Boy, Te Amo, Hard, that's four singles, even if two of them didn't do too well. Plus she's obviously benefiting from the success of Eminem track. I never considered "Rated R" as a flop though. :)

August 18, 201016 yr I really, really hope the mid-week chart on Radio 1 includes all the sales. It'd be total cringe if it doesn't in my opinion.

I cannot stand that guy aswell -_- All he ever writes about Rihanna is hate comments, what a twat <_< Sorry, that was off topic :P I hope 'Headlines' can outsell 'Wordshaker' i'm thinking it'll sell around 14-17k maybe.
August 18, 201016 yr Very happy The Sats are still #3, hopefully they'll hold it until the end of the week. Album has been #1 on iTunes since sunday so they should have a fair few more sales from that with apple sales included :)
August 18, 201016 yr @gregjames: If anyone knows someone from The Official Charts Company, please ask them to email us the chart asap. I'm on in 25 minutes...Ta looks like radio 1 is having trouble too...
August 18, 201016 yr I wasn't counting Te Amo and Hard as 'hit' singles. Saying that they have clearly helped the album. Yeah, but they are mediocre songs. Her prev album spawned better songs.
August 18, 201016 yr I wasn't counting Te Amo and Hard as 'hit' singles. Saying that they have clearly helped the album. Just because 'Te Amo' didn't go top 10, it doesn't mean it's not a hit single. Take Jason Mraz's 'I'm Yours' and The Saturdays' 'Forever Is Over'. Which one is the hit out of them? 'Te Amo' has sold an awful lot for a song that only reached #13(?) and spent around 15 weeks inside the top 40 (a lot of them inside the top 20). Rated R has had three hit singles, a very promising fourth single ('Hard' showed potential in January) and has benefited from the huge success of LTWYL. Having said that, I never really considered it a flop - more of a severe under-performance. But it's just a victim of a $h!t and unorganised marketing "strategy" by her label/management in reality.
