August 17, 201015 yr Actually 'Rude Boy' spent 9 weeks in the Top 10 :P 10-6-3-2-2-3-4-6-8 :D Aha, must have not noticed that 10 there due to it being 2 digits :P Yeah, Rude Boy is also on 9. Nonetheless, LTWYL will equal the 2010 record this week.
August 17, 201015 yr Iron Maiden very deserved No. 1 album, it's excellent I don't get all this about The Saturdays 8-track not being a full-album though - lot's of bands release albums with only 8 tracks? OK, they're longer tracks than the 3-minute bubblegum pop The Saturdays are releasing, but all the same... 8 tracks is very low for an album, especially when almost half the tracks are from an old album. There is nothing wrong with Missing You, it should have been released as a main single, followed by another single and then a full album (12 tracks or so). I'm amazed the sats fans thought this album would sell well tbh. Edited August 17, 201015 yr by andyboiuk
August 17, 201015 yr I find what The Saturdays are doing to be very cheap and tacky but good on them for making the top 5 I suppose. I don't think they deserve the hype they get on here but I do think they may still surprise us yet. I personally thought Girls Aloud were over after the Chemistry era but they just continued to get bigger and bigger so it just goes to show you can't really write off any artist :P Obviously GA's material is FAR better but you get the gist of my point. And yay for Iron Maiden. Not a fan personally but I can appreciate. Tis always good to see some good rock at the top of the charts. Surprised The Hoosiers are underperforming after their debut album did so well. I expected them to be #2 at least.
August 17, 201015 yr Is it just today's midweek that has missed the Apple sales, or is a regular occurence? It's a fairly common occurrence for some data to be missing at the start of the week.
August 17, 201015 yr Hope the saturdays album does sell well this time, would feel well sorry for them if it flops like the last one, could be all over for them, but i'm sure it wont be the same.
August 17, 201015 yr Author It's a fairly common occurrence for some data to be missing at the start of the week. If apple units were added Roll Deep would be #1 today, Eminem & Rihanna got boosted from other download sites. I did find it odd seeing Emanna at #1 this morning, I wasn't expecting them to be #1
August 17, 201015 yr it's sold more than Wordshaker had at this stage. It's selling better than a flop? Hardly a cause to celebrate. Edited August 17, 201015 yr by andyboiuk
August 17, 201015 yr The Saturdays will proberley be 1k ahead of wordshaker sales now that apple sales are missing.
August 17, 201015 yr I think Shakira will be back in top 40 when apple data is back :) when you said she;s out top 40 iw as like she's doing so well on itunes though
August 18, 201015 yr As much as i like 'Green Light', i really want Em and Ri to be #1 on Sunday. Highly doubt it will happen though. :( Edit: I was going to add on that there's always next week, but i've just looked at the release schedule and Dynamites out next week, Teenage Dream the week after. Looks like the #1 isn't going to happen... Edited August 18, 201015 yr by Chriss_S

Looks like the #1 isn't going to happen... Yes, Taio will definitely be number 1 next week. Not that sure about Katy because Olly Murs is also being released the week after.
August 18, 201015 yr Well The Saturdays have been no.1 on iTunes album chart since Monday morning and havent slipped. If iTunes data was missing, they could have sold around 7,000 yesterday instead of 6,000. :)
August 18, 201015 yr Author I've got a gut feeling today's chart is going to be a duff one from MW, my money will be on Radio 1 having the correct version this afternoon
August 18, 201015 yr Eminem and Rihanna still #1, so looks duff Saturdays still #3 in the albums Edited August 18, 201015 yr by spkx
August 18, 201015 yr Author Eminem is still #1, I knew it be a duff chart update, update coming up once I blitz it

August 18, 201015 yr Author Whatever you do don't ask for requests its the same chart as yesterday's practically, its false, there is no point, just wait for Radio 1 to update this afternoon. Only have a top 39 in the albums, I Am Arrows is probably the missing album, so I left the act in the update.
