New album from James in the stores soon!

Wikipedia:

Some Kind of Trouble is the upcoming third studio album by award-winning singer-songwriter James Blunt.[2] The album follows on from the huge success Blunt has had with his two previous studio albums, Back To Bedlam and All The Lost Souls, with Back To Bedlam being the best-selling album of the Decade in the UK, and the 10th best-selling album of all time in the UK. The album is currently set for release in the UK on 8 November 2010.[3]. At the end of James Blunt's newsletter on 28 July, when the album name was unknown to the public, his finishing sentence was "It will be good to see you all again and hopefully we can get into some kind of trouble..

"Stay The Night" should be the first single. Here`s the snippet, full version on Friday, Radio 2! You can see the cover of the album.

What do you think? IMO it`s very similar to "Hey Soul Sister" :-D My faves his songs are "You`re Beatiful", "Goodbye My Lover", "1973" and "Same Mistake"... But this is also nice.

Hey Soul Sister RIP OFF! :o (This actually sounds better than HSS though tbh.) :kink:

I've never really like James Blunt tbh. I don't even know why i bothered clicking on this topic.

Ooh, I quite like it :) Yes, it is quite similar to "Hey Soul Sister", but that is a great song so it certainly isn't a bad thing.

I was expecting an Alcazar cover, and am disappointed that it's not :(

I used to LOVE Blunty, for my sins. I maintain that Back To Bedlam is a fantastic album

This sounds like the production of Hey Soul Sister mixed with the melody of Please Don't Let Me Go. Therefore good but not amazing.

Indeed, I had a small hope of that. Or the Ojnoj BJSC entry :kink:

Not too bad I guess, but I might kill myself if this reach the Top 40 and stays there for too long like HSS.

Uh, yeah, this. I even loved 1973. And I love this too.

Yeah, the funeral for the last vestiges of my dignity is on Saturday.

1973 was decent-ish but the rest of that album was bland as hell :( I was very disappointed that I didn't enjoy it, but at least my street cred went up a bit as a result :funky:

Why is James Blunt seen as "uncool"? I mean, his first album was the best-selling of the decade

Because the vast majority of those sales were to the middle-aged. Since when were high sales ~ cool? Hello, Westlife?

Weren't Westlife cool back in the day? Teenage heart-throbs, with hoards of screaming girls at their concerts, who have now grown up?

I guess the massive sales of his 'Back To Bedlam' was the result of losing his "cool". I dunno.

You can say the same thing to Take That.

LOSING his cool? Was James Blunt EVER cool?

OK, put it this way Jack. Michael Buble isn't 'cool', even though he sells millions, because the target market is the middle aged.

LOSING his cool? Was James Blunt EVER cool?

LOL, no he wasn't. In addition to that he;s yet to put his name to anything that isn't ear rape

This sounds brilliant from the clip. Blatant 'Hey, Sould Sister' rip-off though (as it's been pointed out already ). I liked some of his past singles and never really 'got' the hate. 'Goodbye My Lover' is still as beautiful and haunting as ever

I admitt I did quite like some of his songs, but the man's success was so irritating.

His first album was the most overrated piece of music ever.

i'm really looking forward to this. i've liked all of the stuff he's released so far and i should really have a listen to his albums in full especially back to bedlam, see what all the fuss is about.

and i love that the album cover is a photo of babytard from the shaytards. anyone else watch then?? :P

Always disliked the guy, but I had a soft spot for '1973' and even though I was one of the ONLY people at the time to hate You're Beautiful, I quite like it now lol.

But he's irrelevant these days? I can't see many people caring. Paolo Nutini and James Morrison have taken over his market now.
