Adele...

On one hand I'm glad that Eminem is finally out with his overrated song, on the other - I didn't want him to be overtaken by the song having 'The X-Factor effect'.

Ridiculous for Adele. It's an OK song, but not that great. Roberta Flack  40 though :cheer:

Can anyone remember what the rumoured winner's song last year was, before The Climb?

X factor is really benefiting the adele song it got a new peak about 3 weeks ago and it looks highly likely she will once again have a higher peak this week, i wonder is she benefiting from any album sales on the back of it.

Im surprised no one has done any florence and the machine songs on x factor as i was sure alot of people would have done a few songs by her.

As ManicKangaroo said, 'Don't Stop Believin' but there was also this big rumour that it'd be a cover of Delta Goodrem's 'Born To Try'.

I think Delta's song was the year Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers were in as I remember thinking it'd suit Diana's vocals.

I honestly believe that 'The Worlds Greatest' will end up being an Xfactor winning single at some point lol. It's used 90% of the time in every Xfactor episode haha.

No, it was last year. :P

I must be one of the few people that finds that Adele song to be vile...

I hope they do an original winner's song this year but I doubt that highly :heehee:

The lyrics are very heartfelt and it's a Bob Dylan early classic really, but I do prefer a male singing it and this Billy Joel version is good and more like Bob's.

The song's from 1997, so it's hardly an early classic of Dylan. It's a good song, but I very much prefer Dylan's version over Adele's.

I do hope To Make You Feel My Love isn't this year's Don't Stop Believin' and eventually gets picked up and hammered by commercial radio or something...I trust no Glee cover is on the way :kink:

I like the song but I'm already getting sick to death of it

Must be so strange for adele having released this song so long ago and peaking outside top 20 and now its looking like it could peak inside the top 5 months & months later without her doing anything!
Kylie is really flopping.
If Sophie Ellis-Bextor managed to get to #25 instead of #38 because of the physicals then I'm sure Kylie will get top-20 which is not much of a flop after all, as the cumulative sales should be quite good too after all.
Looks like the Professor Green/Example single is gonna flop :( i thought it would do so much better than that, especially with such a good video and being A-listed on Radio 1!
