How crafty, they sped it up so they don't have to play it for so long

SWY :puke:

ALEX not No 1 what is the world coming to and why does this version sound very fast.
Why are they playing it so fast? Hate it that much that they wanna get it over with as soon as possible? :L
Firstly the most overrated song, and now THIS. I noticed that recently I don't really enjoy the UK top-10 unlike it was even half a year ago. I hope the charts get better soon.

sorry, my connection timed out :(

Glad this is falling, if only Emanna could do the same

R1 are just pathetic it is beyond belief what they have against Alex anyway No 1 for two weeks they can suck on that.

They are trying to end it as soon as possible and to save our ears.

The faster the better, nearer the end

LOL Arrs so true :P

Everyone seems to be in agreement!

Can't blame them.

It sounds like fairground music when sped up, doesn't make it any better however (aside from it not lasting as long)

Label: Sony

Formed in 2001 in Dublin, Ireland, the Script consists of guitarist Marc Sheehan, vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, and drummer Glen Power. The trio takes their soulful, Celtic-inspired sound from artists like Van Morrison and U2, but Sheehan and O'Donoghue's former work as producers (working with the likes of the Neptunes) gives the Script a unique, contemporary sound flavoured by dance and R&B influences. An EP appeared in 2007, followed by the successful single "We Cry." The band's self-titled full-length debut appeared in 2008, and went straight to the top of the U.K. charts. - HMV

Another album chart thing... I'm very confused...Isn't the Usher album charting 'Versus'? Because here the new album is Versus EP + some of the biggest hits of RVR..

Somebody make them stop doing those re-releases and pointless EPs!!

To be fair to Alex. SWY is a truly diabolical song  Doubt it would've made #1 if it wasn't new material.

Shame as the whole Overcome album pisses over it.

 Love the quick version!

Heh I agree it does sound a lot better. I could actually get down to that version

Oh, still like the Script song.
