September 29, 201015 yr I love Kylie but ... LOL. Already 3 places down. God knows where it's gonna chart by Sunday. I bet outside the top20. Great to see Mark holding the top spot. Hopefully KT Tunstall won't drop much more.
September 29, 201015 yr I love Kylie but ... LOL. Already 3 places down. God knows where it's gonna chart by Sunday. I bet outside the top20. I don't think it'll miss the top 20, when this often happens it drops less slowly for the rest of the week. I expect #14 or so on Sunday now.

September 29, 201015 yr Hopefully. 'Get out of my way' is still a great song. But roll on 'Better than today' :cheer: Nothing's confirmed about the next single yet... I'm hoping it won't be that, but there are worse choices I guess.
September 29, 201015 yr Nothing's confirmed about the next single yet... I'm hoping it won't be that, but there are worse choices I guess. Oh I thought I read it somewhere. Well, I wonder if anything can become a 'hit' now, no matter how good the song will be.
September 29, 201015 yr I thought Kylie would be at like #10 today... But oh well, it was inevitable. Hope for #14-15 by Sunday.
September 29, 201015 yr Oh I thought I read it somewhere. Well, I wonder if anything can become a 'hit' now, no matter how good the song will be. I doubt it, she used to be the type of artist to have two solid hits per album and have the rest be fanbase buys (barring Fever era), but maybe in this current climate she'll only get one solid hit single per album. :( Still, as long as she still sells her albums well it's not the end of the world.
September 29, 201015 yr But she doesn't sell the album very well in the UK too: it's out from the top-40 in the week of the single release so far! And it's still didn't go 200k at least. Of course, we have the Christmas time soon, but will she sell through it as we want?
September 29, 201015 yr I think Kylie will keep dropping unfortunately- it should just scrape top 20 by sunday would be nice to see Oasis and Radiohead hold on for sunday- although it looks unlikely, surprised to see KT Tunstall in the top 40- I thought it would totally flop surprised to see Status Quo rising, I guess they must have picked up after two whole days of physicals
September 29, 201015 yr Author Kylie needs a featured artist like Tinie Tempah to get a #1 hit  hence all the #1s of the year so far... Pitbull, Eric Turner, Taio Cruz, most of the tracks feature an artist, hence the genre bracket of most of all the #1s this year so far...
September 29, 201015 yr Wednesday Top 40 Update ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Top 40 Only Singles Top 15 11 Kylie Minogue
September 29, 201015 yr Kylie needs a featured artist like Tinie Tempah to get a #1 hit  No way - she's one of the few artists that hasn't sold their soul to rap!
September 29, 201015 yr Kylie needs a featured artist like Tinie Tempah to get a #1 hit  hence all the #1s of the year so far... Pitbull, Eric Turner, Taio Cruz, most of the tracks feature an artist, hence the genre bracket of most of all the #1s this year so far... Dynamite didn't have a featured artist... Of the 27 #1s so far this year (28 if you include WITS which isn't exactly going to lose #1), only 11 (12 including Tinie) have features: Telephone feat. Beyoncé OMG feat. will.i.am Good Times feat. Jodie Connor Nothin' On You feat. Bruno Mars Dirtee Disco feat. Daniel Pearce Gettin' Over You feat. Fergie and LMFAO Shout feat. Dizzee Rascal and James Corden California Gurls feat. Snoop Dogg Airplanes feat. Hayley Williams Club Can't Handle Me feat. David Guetta Start Without You feat. Laza Morgan {Written In The Stars feat. Eric Turner} You can even exclude Good Times and Dirtee Disco as the features on those weren't 'official' (but then again you could also include Green Light and We No Speak Americano if you want) The other #1s (Bad Romance, Replay, Fireflies, Everybody Hurts, In My Head, Pass Out, This Ain't A Love Song, Once, The Club Is Alive, All Time Low, Beautiful Monster, Dynamite, Please Don't Let Me Go and Just The Way You Are) are definitely solo.
September 29, 201015 yr No way - she's one of the few artists that hasn't sold their soul to rap! There are far more vile and dreadful musical styles than Rap-Country and Western, Bluegrass, Heavy Metal and Dubstep.
September 29, 201015 yr Hopefully Eminem will overtake Alexandra by Sunday, partly because I want Alex out of the top 10 and partly because it'd be a bit sucky to drop out of the top 10 after 14 weeks instead of hanging on for a round 15  I also hope Danny Byrd can make a showing by the end of the week, Oasis and Radiohead will surely drop out, Morrissey probably will as well and maybe KT Tunstall (but she's climbed since yesterday and (SA)W is now climbing on iTunes, so maybe not) Edited September 29, 201015 yr by ~ braysephone ~
September 29, 201015 yr Do these "tribute versions" of songs, count towards the charts because over on livehits the party hit kings are 14 with their version of Cee Lo's new song "Forget You"
September 29, 201015 yr surprised to see Status Quo rising, I guess they must have picked up after two whole days of physicals Appearance on Alan Titchmarsh last night. Glad to see it rising if more money goes to the troops.
September 29, 201015 yr Author Do these "tribute versions" of songs, count towards the charts because over on livehits the party hit kings are 14 with their version of Cee Lo's new song "Forget You" If they are registered with OCC they will chart. Got a feeling the track is not registered, but anything can happen between now and Sunday, Greg Street did not chart till Sunday and it wasn't even in the mids all week, caught everyone by surprise. Mind you saying that Radio 1 could have an updated version of the mids this afternoon with the Party Hit Kings version in at such and such. That will push Radiohead out of the chart. I got a funny feeling the Party Hit Kings version could be in the update this afternoon from Radio 1, but don't take it as gospel.
