'Party Hit Kings' is not a name that would be used for a real artist, and therefore it will definitely not chart... that's just the way it works until proven otherwise AFAIC. ;o

Kylie needs a featured artist like Tinie Tempah to get a #1 hit  hence all the #1s of the year so far... Pitbull, Eric Turner, Taio Cruz, most of the tracks feature an artist, hence the genre bracket of most of all the #1s this year so far...

No, she does NOT! She's million times more credible than those pseudo-rappers. Kylie has been successful since 1988 - not since 2009! Besides, the positions don't mean anything. As long as she can sell out gigs, she will have more mojney in her pocket.

You are probably right, it just struck me that it could. And on a different note, I'm not as hip as you, I'm still trying to work out what AFAIC is -_-

I was only thinking out loud looking at the current state of the singles chart this year. :P

As far as I'm concerned

No way - she's one of the few artists that hasn't sold their soul to rap!

 I don't understand how this site can be so anti-rap

I agree. But Buzzjack is hardly balanced and reasoned. People loon over 5th rate female artists but dont hear anything worthwhile in most other forms of music. It's sad that people keep their horizons so low.

Kylie's drop was inevitable. So, I predict her at #19 on sunday. :(

LOL... they are playing Status Quo, I was hoping for Morrissey.

Hopefully Kylie will be back inside the top 10 tomorrow after her Live Lounge appearance.
There are far more vile and dreadful musical styles than Rap-Country and Western, Bluegrass, Heavy Metal and Dubstep.

I happy to *like* Country music.

I have no idea what 'bluegrass' even is, though.

Bluegrass is like country but even worse.

Bluegrass is like country but even worse.

Is it actually possible for anything to be worse than Country?

Well, there's a few country songs I like (like a couple of Taylor Swift songs, if they count).

Bluegrass  is that something that you smoke  :heehee:

There are some bluegrass versions of Pink Floyd songs which are brilliant. Of course there are others which fall a long way short of being brilliant. Or even music.

Bluegrass is much superior to country. The worst genre is country rock and Nicleback staggered into it with Rockstar.

I couldnt disagree more. Thats the last thing Kylie needs to do. Can't get you out of my head was a massive smash because it was a great pop song.

I'm sad that "Get Outta My Way" isn't doing amazingly. Honestly, it is the first Kylie song I've LOVED in a while. Hopefully the promo this week pushes it top 10. I think it's more like top 15 though come sunday.

Great to see The Script at no.2 still. I hope the 2nd single gets an X-factor performance to propel the album even further :D

I would hate Kylie to do the featured artist thing as it just isnt her and i really dont think she needs to either. Although get outta my way isnt doing all that great i wouldnt call it a massive flop either. Kylie will always bounce back as she has proved over and over again. Get outta my way is just a small bleap and for me its her weakest single in a very long time and its still managing to do reasonably well.
What about Selena Gomez. Surely one of the most popular artists being shared in social media. Not even mentioned from what I can see.
