Posted October 12, 201014 yr Will.i.am has hooked up with the fabulous Nicki Minaj for his new single ad for the UK release has added vocals from the lady of the moment Cheryl Cole. This is released on November 1st so is up against some big competition - Nadine Coyle, Alexis Jordin, The Saturdays, Roll Deep & Alesha Dixon, Tinchy Stryder, Ne-Yo & even some reports claim Rihanna has moved her release date back to this date too. Where do you think this will chart? Do you think the 3 will be given an X Factor performance :o? Discuss here. iasENvZS4Ng When a better quality version becomes available I will replace the video. October 12, 201014 yr I would love to see Nicki on the X Factor. This song has grown on me a lot since I first heard it, although Cheryl doesn't really add anything to the song. Probably most pointless feature ever. I'm not good with predictions, but I'll say at least top 10...?
October 12, 201014 yr With cheryls name on it alone gives it a boost, so i think its stands a chnace of top 5
October 12, 201014 yr when I heard this a few weeks back, it was a horrid, horrid song- with Cheryl Cole (and I cant believe Im uttering these words) she kind of makes it better and it actually sounds a lot better on second listen, its a shame that stupid, pointless Buggles sample ruins it :( I predict top 10 due to the names involved
October 12, 201014 yr Maybe Cheryl will join The Shadows, The Beatles, John Lennon and Tinie Tempah in having two top 5 singles and the #1 album all at the same time.

It's so catchy!! Also, some people are saying the Cheryl feature is quite pointless. I've not heard Cheryl's version yet, but even if she sings for only 10 seconds, it's not pointless. While musically it may be bordering on pointless, she'll probably get the song an extra 100,000 sales at least, so I can't fathom how people are saying it's a pointless addition. It'll do a LOT for the success of the song in the UK. I do find this funny in a way though, because I doubt Nicki Minaj even knows who Cheryl is. Will.i.am certainly knows how to make a song successful though (Boom Boom Pow, OMG, Meet Me Halfway, I Gotta Feeling, 'nuff said (infact, all 4 of those songs had 2 runs at #1 on iTunes, so perhaps this is a sing )). Also, as much as I'd love it to happen, I can't imaging Nicki Minaj performing on the X Factor. Same with Professor Green, who's on Ollys new song, but surely it'd be unfair to leave them out if the songs are performed?
October 12, 201014 yr The Cheryl version is in the OP, Eric. Cheryl just sings on the chorus. I coudn't tell the difference at first and thought the DJ had made a mistake when they introduced it with Cheryl on the track. I guess it's no real different to UK acts slapping a rapper on a song to break the US market really. Slapping Cheryl Cole's name (her vocals are optional) on a track is an easy way to break the UK market at the moment.
October 12, 201014 yr Cheryl is so overrated, and the fact she has been included in this track is just desperate...could it be anymore calculating right in the middle of the X Factor season? Next she'll be gatecrashing other X Factor guest performances.

October 12, 201014 yr What? Will.I.Am and Nicki Minaj are the ones using Cheryl not the other way. Exactly, this song is not exactly going to build her success in the UK. It's only a way to launch Nicki in the UK and to be sure to get more airplays.

October 13, 201014 yr Will.i.am & Cheryl should be strong enough to make this a big hit & like everyone else said - launch Nicki (the queen) Minaj to the UK public
October 13, 201014 yr Top 5 - I'm glad Cheryl's name will boost it, Nicki is sooooo amazing, deffo my fave rapper right now by a clear mile  If she gets an XF slot as well I just may die of excitement!
October 13, 201014 yr FYI, this is Nicki feat. will.i.am, not vice versa. Either way, I dislike the new mix ever so slightly, although as ever the whole thing's a bit 'let's face it, if it wasn't for the sample this would be awful'. Oh, and I will be filled with rage if the Cheryl stans on here start labelling this a Cheryl song like they did with Heartbreaker.
October 14, 201014 yr FYI, this is Nicki feat. will.i.am, not vice versa. NO? It's Will.I.Am & Nicki Minaj feat Cheryl Cole.
October 14, 201014 yr Cheryl is not credited on the international single. Edited October 14, 201014 yr by MTV79
