Shayne Ward doesn't have a chance of top-10 now, as BEPs are almost at #1 in iTunes and Alexis is at #3. At very least these two will overtake him.

Poor Shayne, SyCo really do keep shafting him. He deserves way better - he's got the perfect image and voice to be a contemporary popstar.

Looks like his chances of top 10 are now gone - I agree with Arrs, both Alexis and BEP are dead certs to overtake him by Sunday :-(.

Am glad Take That and McFly are holding up well. Shayne Ward appears to be dropping a bit. I'm surprised its done as well as it has, its his weakest single to date in my opinion.

I'm thinking Take That could drop to #3, they're free falling on iTunes- wouldn't be surprised to see them drop out of the iTunes top 10 by Saturday.

Yay for Katy! Firework is a great song (even if she can't perform it well live).

I think Take That will be #3 by Sunday :cheer:

First of all, they're rising again on Itunes. Secondary, tomorrow their documentary premieres on itv(prime time), so it aint gonna happen.

If Jls or Westlife released their single and didn't bother to promote it ala Take That this week, they would probably miss top 30. So i think, being number 2 with decent sales is an achievement on its own considering their messed up promo.

She's shocking live

JLS and westlife have a big fanbase that would ensure their singles did well, even without any promo, especially jls.

And no 3 or 2 should be a dissappointment to any fan as this was supposed to be the big comeback with Robbie.

Well, hardly bigger than Take That's or Robbie's :D Especially Westlifes. I'd discount them from the list of potential competitors actually. Would love to see how their singles perform with all the promo(CIN, X factor, signings, radio tours) compared to The Flood on its first week with its ZERO promo.

Curious to find out who'd have the last laugh afterall.

Yeah that is a ridiculous comment. JLS would get to #1 with ease. Westlife probably top 10 as their fanbase always buy it straight away, get a high peak then it has a big drop straight after.

Take That have been the main thing spoken about in music for the last month at least, if thats not good enough promotion i dont know what is! (and i'm a fan!) The album will still be huge, i dont doubt that.

Last laugh? They'll be laughing!

Is anyone else surprised that Jay-Z's Hits Collection isn't higher? Anyone care to speculate as to why, besides not selling well of course? It's full of hits and collaborations and his first GH as far as I know.

No Promo?

Apart from the mass hysteria over Nobbie going back to TT and also the massive amount of Radio Playy they've been getting - they should be holding up easily.

A song selling through no promotion at all is the BEP's song - hardly any radio or video play and basically selling on name alone and its sh!t.

TT just arent selling like they should be - as others have said probably down to the fans waiting for the album - or like Shame, people just dont like the fact Nobbie is back in TT - which judging by the tour ticket sales doesn't ring true.

Exactly - and the fact The Flood isnt looking set to topple a 3 week old single is a bit weird.

It's too quiet a release, there's no single for it and barely any promo.
