FFS - XFF are only *8th* on iTunes, selling barely half of what NS is! :(

 

If you do a bit of research you'll see they were doing this last year. They fell to 10th by the end of the week but still outsold #1 and #2 by 30k, I repeat, not 4k or 5k, 30k.

 

They would have gotten to no.1 quite comfortably if it hadn't been for Peter Kay frontloaded charity song (who ironically was something like 16th on itunes that week).

:( Nicole is still #2! I PRAY she'll overtake them by Monday considering the snow hampering physical sales and Heroes plummeting down iTunes

 

good point! not many people will go out and buy it cos of the snow and if they do go out i doubt that'll be at the top of their priorities. really hope she can nab that #1

Have you even listened to it ? There is no hype whatsoever around her new album, but that doesn't mean it's a bad album. Actually it is a great album.

Im amazed XFF are still number 1- maybe they can get another week there :o its been exactly a year since Peter Kay beat Rihanna to number 1- It was quite unexpected- maybe history could repeat itself with similar circumstances :o

Yes - I've listened to all of the tracks - though not in the order they appear on the album. And that's why I commented. And they are poorly consturcted, oddly sung and lacking in anything that could be a sizable hit. But if you like it then that's lovely. But I'm commenting on why I don't think it's amazing she is struggling, and in my view, the reasons it's failing are fairly visible.

I hope McFly can somehow get back up to 15. I want to see them stay in the same position for once!

I quite like the Duffy album "My Boy" is an incredible song!!

HAS to be career-saving 2nd single.

 

There's a few other stand-out tracks as well.

 

I know her voice can grate on some people with the old woman high pitched vebrato but the songwriting is excellent.
