We don't have any top 200s chart info this week, to answer any other acts, otherwise they would have been posted, we just have to go back to basics with a top 40 update. We rarely get a top 200 info anyway, the last 2 weeks was a god sent.

Its hardly rocket science to work out when some members ask for info that isn't there, as we don't have the material to answer your requests that's why some posts are left ignored. If we don't have the info how are we going to answer all the other requests, its not as if I'm going to pull a number out of a magic hat.

Plus all the new entries have been posted within the top 40, any new entries outside the top 40 we don't have chart info for. MW only publish a top 40, (a top 75 would be nice), but their mid flashes stops at #40.

Poor Nelly, what a flop era for her. I doubt she'll ever be able to recover now a la Anastacia :o

No Leona either, although I'm not sure if that's more likely to chart in the DVD chart as it's a CD/DVD package?

Anything on Mcfly?

Non mover

anyone know where Kylie is??

Sorry we don't have the info.

Where is Nelly Furtado's Best Of?

Again, sorry as above.

Is Pixie Lott TIL in the top 40?

And nope

Nelly Furtado is flopping but it's a greatest hits.

She hasn't done any promo, no lead single etc.

When she comes back with a new album and promo, she'll be big again.

Btw, MW don't have a mid report for today unless I'm missing something.

Leona's is a DVD not a CD you just get a live CD as part of the package so it will be in the DVD chart's yeah :)

The "Night Is Young" video has been getting video exposure for a few weeks now but no real radio exposure.

Seriously, why of all McFly singles is this the one to NOT drop like a brick... =/

It's nowhere near their best, and you can't say it's because of Taio Cruz...

I mean, he hardly has a loyal fanbase with his no Top 10 albums and patchy singles history.

Jark said in the Alesha Dixon - The Entertainer thread that it's number 67 in the midweeks... How does he know, and more to the point, how does whoever released it know?
M!key - The Duffy Album is 'struggling'. It should have been a certain No.1, had it been

doing as well as it ought to be doing. After the success of 'Rockferry', the 2nd Album should

have easily been No.1.

It is the follow-up to an Album that sold over 2 Million in the UK alone. That was No.1 for

5 Weeks. That was in the Top 10 for 33 Weeks - 42 Weeks, when you add in the 9 Top 10

Weeks of the 'Deluxe' Edition. It also spent 34 Weeks in the Top 5 - 5 of them with the

'Deluxe' Edition. There is no way that 'Endlessly' is going to come close to those Feats.

I think you have to take other things into consideration. She's been gone for 2 years, her previous style of music is not 'in' anymore. She's releasing in a tough period with a lot of large fan base acts (Take That, JLS) which is something she's never been. Her latest single was not well received and charted at only 41. She's had no Radio 1 support and little to no airplay plus the whole project has been handled so quietly that not a lot of people will even know she's back. Me and other fans are more likely to be relieved she's charting as high as 4.

Her first album sold *2 million* and her second album isn't even going to go top 3. That is awful no matter what way you spin it.

There is a lead single being released next week called "night is young". I think, however, lack of promotion of releasing a greatest hits set far too early are reasons for the failure of this project.

I'm not surprised by BEP's new album, their new single is utter rubbish and a major step back from stuff like "meet me halfway" and "i've got a feeling".
I'm really glad Take That are still no1 album and have beaten off the likes of JLS and Olly Muurs. Does anybody know how far ahead they are?
