One bad decision can kill the career of an artist if they are considered 'credible'. Duffy did that awful Diet Coke advert - it was a terrible terrible error, it made her look grasping. And now we see the long term damage inflicted on her career. Commercially, baring a miracle, she is over.

 

I highly doubt a Coke advert had anything to do with it. She released a rubbish lead single at the hardest time of the year. It baffles me that they didn't wait until January.

Rihanna does my head in these days. I liked her up until after the GGGB era. I mean Only Girl is ok but no Umbrella/Don't Stop The Music/Disturbia. I don't think its her fault her music no longer appeals to me. To me, she used to stand out but now everything she touches is so generic.

What's My Name? is probably my favourite Rihanna single, pretty effortless and easily the best thing she's released in years.

Cher is probably with the security guard a lot, methinks. :lol: Love her though!

To be honest, I agree. I've really gone off her since GGGB too, Russian Roulette aside. What's My Name? is better than the other two turds with her name on it at the moment though.
