Edited by edward88

YAY, Ellie beat Nicole :D

Although TBH Poison has grown on me a lot

Guys, while you're listening to this, look out for parts of ABBA's Voulez Vous and Armand Van Helden's My My My (that's where it gets all muffly and quiet then gets louder and clearer) in Poison :kink:

At 23 years old, Afrojack aka Nick van de Wall, has had phenomenal success in Holland, crossover smashes like 'Drop Down (Do My Dance)', 'Math', 'Don't Be', with numerous club anthems including 'Bangduck', 'Pacha on Acid' as well as producing for the likes of Estelle, David Guetta, MADONNA and upcoming single for THE BLACK EYED PEAS have ensured he's the Dutch talent everyone is talking about.

As befitting his position as the leading figure of the Dutch new wave, his success stretches far beyond his home turf; 2010 has seen him become one of the most in demand DJ/producers of any nationality.

With a peerless reputation in the USA, Europe, Asia and beyond, his signature style is bringing him the kind of remix requests (David Guetta feat. Akon 'Sexy Bitch'/ Lady Gaga 'Pokerface') that most dance artists will only ever dream of. Gig-wise, he's rocked the World's biggest floors including Wonderland Ibiza, David Guetta's FMIF parties and Electric Daisy Carnival in LA.

Afrojack's rise to fame has brought him a roll call of A-list champions – from Pete Tong to David Guetta, and Josh Wink to Fedde Le Grand - and along the way he's since collaborated with Guetta, Diplo (Pon Di Floor), Kid Cudi, Laidback Luke and Steve Angello, amongst others. - HMV

Good dance tune from them, I wish it was a little longer

For me it's exactly the opposite. Awful top 10. Only song i like in the top 10 is Your song. Just love it! And i quite like TOM.

You must prefer Billboard Hot 100 more than UK top 40.

I do like the Billboard Hot 100, but there are some bad things about the chart, like too much country music, and not enough dance music. In the UK chart, there's almost no country music, and we get some European songs in the chart. I'd also really miss the UK hip hop tracks if I lived in the US.

The European Hot 100 is probably my favourite. The mainstream American songs chart well. Most big UK songs get top 10, even if they aren't released in other countries, and we get those songs from other European countries.

Olly is the same position in week 2 as PDLMG was. :) Hopefully TOM will show more longevity overall than PDLMG did (although PDLMG wasn't *as* frontloaded as some other #1s this year)

I do plan to stick around for a while, thanks :teresa:

This is intense! Really wanna know sales info afterwards! Go Ellie!
Anyway, hopefully Ellie has just edged XFF and gone 3-2-1, though it's unlikely.
I seem to be the only person who thinks this is the best pop song since Bad Romance. The chorus is massive.

I agree! :D

Poison is okay, I suppose. Reminds me of Toxic by Britney, but I think that's just because of the titles.

I thought Nicole could've been anywhere between #1 and #3.

This happened to 'Billionaire' and look at its chart run so i'm not stressing too much. Reminds me of last year with Whatcha Say, being #1 on itunes most of the week and only charting at #3 because of XFF and Peter Kay having Children In Need behind it (this year its a song with a massive advert behind it).

Yep i prefer European Top 100 rather Billboard.

I'm sure you will love Inna - 10 minutes. I quite like it. Give it a check, if you don't know it!
