What a pair of drama queens. Well, Wiley at least :\

Oh and that MTV article is LOL. Particularly the last bit about Wiley asking him to take him on tour... was that all he did this bull$h!t for? Just so he could be a support act for Green, because Green is relatively successful? Whereas Wiley seems to struggle outside of Roll Deep...

Yeah, that confused me a bit too. He was like "Professor Green, you suck. I'm better than you. Can I go on tour with you?". Although I think he might've been trying to ask for a rap battle.

Also, something about The Time I found on deadmau5's facebook page, which some of you might find interesting:

i've been getting a few tweets on and off about Black Eyed Peas's new single "The Time" that more or less said... heyy sounds like you ish... So... i went and checked it out, at first listen... i was like... naaahhh i mean, it's cool for what it is and all that... and doesnt really sound much like me at all. but then i heard a highhat... and something just clicked.

yup! i so know that highat... and the pattern it was in... so i went to my masters folder, cracked open my instrumental mix of "You and i" remix thing i did for Medina... and there it was again, starring me in the face... so i coupled up the waveforms.. which was pretty easy, since theyre both exactly 128 BPM... and had a look... from what i could gather, looks like the loop was layered on top of a tiny bit (on the snare end) and the "loop" was compressed (which woulda made it doubly compressed in this case) the phases in the kick drum lined up.. which isnt the most rare occurance in the world of "the same f***in kick over and over and over again"... but enough to give it a closer look for sure. Then that similar reversed highat at the end of every 2nd bar was there again.

This isnt calling the black eyed peas out at all. i rather enjoy that minimal bit of the tune... (however the 80's remake vocals can f*** off and die) This is just another interesting factoid i keep finding about sampling and electronic music... which is clearley prevalent and welcomed (when used properly) in this genre of music no doubt!

Glad to see he welcomes sampling too. :)

sorry, but Wiley was just being stupid and unreasonable there, Pro Green was at least trying to be mature, or at least after he said that first comment :/

Pixie Lott - can't make this over removed again !!

when the bug occurs, nothing actually gets removed from iTunes. It just doesn't appear in the Top 1000 listing for a short time. The song is still there if you search for it, so it's not affecting its sales.

sorry Brister that's what i meant, my fault sorry !

Wrong choice of words !

Heard it for the first time today (Radio 1) - talk about dreary

It does sort of effect sales

If you mean by people who look for what to buy via the iT chart, I'd say the effect was microscopic - who'd give up after *just* that?

Getting removed if you're in the top 10 would greatly effect sales (see Ridin' Solo), but I don't think being removed when you're in the top 1000 is a big deal. I bet hardly anybody looks at the top 1000 chart to be honest.

yeah I definitely agree with that.

Most of the bugs affect non-top 10 entries, which is what would be expected given that the top 10 makes up 1% of the chart.

Great for Alexandra - the gap between her and Alexa yesterday was pretty big - good climb.

Could Alexandra get top 10 on iTunes? I thought she might have stopped climbing now that the XF effect has worn off, but she must be linked on the front page under the "singles" part as that always seems to help releases continue climbing right through to Friday lunchtime.

They aren't immune though - last Thursday 'What's My Name?' vanished from 6...

It does seem to affect some artists more than others, though - Rihanna is very badly hit by the chart bug. :(

My thoughts exactly! I thought: "Ooh, Coldplay are releasing an Xmas song, maybe it'll be cheery!" But no, same old dreary bleugh :( The only song of theirs I ever liked was Viva La Vida :)

Love Goes Down #64. :(

Has it been officially released? I don't expect much from it in the singles, but i hope it give a nice boost to the album!

Such a good album

Thinking of Me at #7 :) Good to see this is having some good longevity. Should sell pretty much same as Please Dont Let Me Go.
