A mixture there. 3 mash-up's for Cher? Really needed? Really? 'Impossible' seems a good choice for single, though theres no chance of her actually performing it frankly. A nice enough selection for Rebecca aswell.

A bizzare choice for One Direction in 'Young Forever', really not a fan of the track and it seems utterly bemusing frankly. Matt on the otherhand has a brilliant selection, and if the show is trying to get a Matt win then I'm rather confused since I believe they'd get more out of One Direction but ya know, what do I know....

This site seems to think Matt & Rihanna are singing Umbrella and Cher & Will are singing Check It Out.

I really hope that first article isnt true, that will be terrible:

Matt's duet won't be that good, his first song will be dull, his second wont be bad I guess

Rebecca's duet should steal the show, but her first would be meh and second would be awful! :o

One Directions duet would be a bit meh, and their other songs are nothing special either

Cher wouldn't really matter- if shes not singing Turn My Swag on, shes out :(

really hope the one above is true- an audition song, their duet and a 'best of the series' song would be best imo

oh and Im pretty sure its one going tomorrow and three go through to sunday

I'm more inclined to believe The X Factor blog tbh, they claim the are doing three songs on Saturday and that they ARE doing audition songs.

The idea of having "Distant Dreamer" at #1 for Christmas is making me over the moon.

It's like the best song ever recorded, and with Rebecca's voice .... OH PLEASE let that happen !

It's very possible that this time next week Distant Dreamer may be number 1!!!!!!!!! I'm obsessed with the song all over again now, thank you Rebecca!!! I've even delayed my end of year chart because in case she wins as I know it will chart at least top 10 in it!!!!!!

They seem made up. I honestly can not see Rebecca doing 'Single Ladies' - completely not in her vocal range as well as tempo. Would love for Cher to do those BEP's tracks, but I'm believin' it'll be 'Check It Out' (maybe a mash-up with IGAF) Also no 'Turn My Swag On'? Asif. It's the most watched performance on youtube out of this entire series. Surely they'll get her to perform it to pull in the viewers?
Those song choices are basically geared to ensure a Matt win then...

Actually I think Matt's songs are the weakest... I think Cher's are genius, Rebecca's will all be great but a bit dubious about the single ladiesness and I think One Direction have BLOWN and chance of winning now. -_-

Actually all 4 winners singles are going to be released as singles, the top 4 singles chart will look like this

1 Cher

2 Matt

3 Rebecca

4 One Devotion

or a different top 4, consisting of the above 4 artists, whoever wins tomorrow is not guaranteed a #1 single :drama:

I smell something fishy... discuss.

Personally I can't see this happening... Possibliity outcome the winners single will be released the first week, than the following week the other 3 will be made available to buy/download. I can't see the supermarkets stocking all 4 to be honest, my guess the other 3 will be made available to download only. That would make more sense.

I have been wondering whether all performances from the final will be allowed to chart/appear on the iTunes chart?

It usually happens with the American Idol final doesn't it?

Still all 4 songs being released would be pretty awesome ^_^

 Oh Mikey, there are so many potential hit backs to this comment. :P

As for X Factor, I fail to see Simon Cowell allowing all 4 acts to have their "winners" singles released. Then again, he admitted he'd increased the budget so why put more money into giving the acts the chance to record their own single, if they were never going to see the light of day?

I guess only time will tell. It could be a really exciting/shocking/surprising year for The X Factor if all 4 singles were released (but also a bit of an insult to whoever wins, especially if another act outsells them yet they finished 2nd/3rd/4th). Also it could be a complete anti climax if it's a Cher/One Direction victory and only their single is released while the other 3 acts get nothing (moreso in the case of Matt and Rebecca as they are easily the best two left in the competition imo - and have been the best overall since the live finals started).

The losing 3 will definitely not have physical copies, everyone surely knows that. Maybe available to download only, but i doubt that too.

Um, was rude to the camerman, obnoxious and completley blanked her fans?

You mean the paparazzi? Most celebrities are, as the paparazzi are some of the most annoying people you will ever meet. She wasn't obnoxious, she barely did anything but walk, and what fans? You mean the rude chavs shouting "RUDDE!! NO WONDER NOBODY LIKES HER!"? What kind of "fans" are they?

So, are you all fairly certain who the artists performing are?

Matt and Rihanna should be great.

Oooh, so the winner's single that will be released aren't ballads or any $h!t like that?

So, if Matt wins, Many of Horror gets released as his first single?

Cool.

Cher singing IGAF with Will should help IGAF get to 1,100,000 sales easily

Is IGAF the only song that has been helped by two different years of the X Factor?

I really hope those rumours are true about the winner's single, I'd LOVE to hear Rebecca, at least perform 'Distant Dreamer'

So the Daily Mail were surprisingly accurate, they got the celeb duets right and all of the 'first performances' except Cher's.

Will/Willow turned out to be total $h!te, instead it's a mashup of Cupid & B.o.B's '369' from Step Up 2 The Streets and Missy Elliott's Get Ur Freak On.

The XF website lists Cher's duet as 'The Black Eyed Peas' instead of 'will.i.am' so maybe Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap will show up as well?
