December 14, 201015 yr Matt's sales are brilliant 112k in 1 day Amazing.. Hallelujah sold 149.546 in 2 days!! Are you sure? so it's really HUGE if so!
December 14, 201015 yr This week's chart is the Xmas chart :) Thanks! Seems so weird because Christmas is almost two weeks away.
December 14, 201015 yr This might seem a ridiculous question but is this coming chart the Christmas chart or the one week after? This one. The Christmas #1 is whatever #1 is on Christmas day. In 2011 however the chart WILL be on Christmas Day :o
December 14, 201015 yr The Silence to #29, and Deluxe of her album to #31 and this is only tuesday..not looking great for both of these. Olly Murs still #5, could he do another week of over 100,000? :o
December 14, 201015 yr Are you sure? so it's really HUGE if so! Yeah, it's strange because it looks low, but when you compare it to the point where it has day's less sales - then it's absolutely massive
December 14, 201015 yr Anyone know what Joe sold on the first set of midweeks last year? I'm sure someone will provide all the winners singles first week sales and the midweek breakdown?
December 14, 201015 yr The Silence to #29, and Deluxe of her album to #31 and this is only tuesday..not looking great for both of these. Olly Murs still #5, could he do another week of over 100,000? :o The Silence might go back up again abit later, she's on Alan Titchmarsh show tonight
December 14, 201015 yr Anyone know what Joe sold on the first set of midweeks last year? 77k, with Rage Against The Machine on 83k.
December 14, 201015 yr Who would've thought that the only way Corey Taylor might get close to a Top 40 single in 2010 is to release a Christmas song. Edited December 14, 201015 yr by SKOB
December 14, 201015 yr The Silence might go back up again abit later, she's on Alan Titchmarsh show tonight Alan Titchmarsh doesnt really do anything, maybe a few places but could still potentially drop more then 10 places this week .. Looking at Joe sales, Matt is doing really well :o :w00t:
December 14, 201015 yr Pleased to see The Flood shooting back up. I know it's because of X Factor but only three weeks in the top ten for it was ridiculous. Brilliant song! As for the campaigns faltering in comparison to 2009, I'm not surprised, last year was an original concept, a hilarious idea and a perfect song choice. This remains one of my favourite Youtube videos; Hsg8AHdlKUY But the point was proven, I don't quite see the point in doing it again. There's no more fun in somebody else fixing the xmas #1 than there is Simon Cowell doing it imo. Once was very funny but not over and over again...and using Surfin' Bird is a bit of an in joke for people who watch Family Guy (I don't), whereas Rage was actually universally appealing to the anti Cowell masses.
December 14, 201015 yr Last years sales for each day: Tuesday: RATM 83k, Joe 77k Wednesday: RATM 175.1k, Joe 109.7k Thursday: RATM 253k, Joe 216k Friday: RATM 306,115, Joe 297,192 Edited December 14, 201015 yr by Johnkm
December 14, 201015 yr Wow! So Matt's even beaten Joe's Wednesday's sales as well. I can't wait for Thursday when the cd sales are added
December 14, 201015 yr Wow! So Matt's even beaten Joe's Wednesday's sales as well. I can't wait for Thursday when the cd sales are added I wonder if they'll make as much difference as in previous years though, given the ever-decreasing number of locations where they can be purchased?
