This one. The Christmas #1 is whatever #1 is on Christmas day. In 2011 however the chart WILL be on Christmas Day :o

The Silence to #29, and Deluxe of her album to #31 and this is only tuesday..not looking great for both of these.

Yeah, it's strange because it looks low, but when you compare it to the point where it has day's less sales - then it's absolutely massive

Alan Titchmarsh doesnt really do anything, maybe a few places but could still potentially drop more then 10 places this week .. :unsure:

 

Looking at Joe sales, Matt is doing really well :o :w00t:

Pleased to see The Flood shooting back up. I know it's because of X Factor but only three weeks in the top ten for it was ridiculous. Brilliant song!

 

As for the campaigns faltering in comparison to 2009, I'm not surprised, last year was an original concept, a hilarious idea and a perfect song choice. This remains one of my favourite Youtube videos;

 

 

But the point was proven, I don't quite see the point in doing it again. There's no more fun in somebody else fixing the xmas #1 than there is Simon Cowell doing it imo. Once was very funny but not over and over again...and using Surfin' Bird is a bit of an in joke for people who watch Family Guy (I don't), whereas Rage was actually universally appealing to the anti Cowell masses.

I wonder if they'll make as much difference as in previous years though, given the ever-decreasing number of locations where they can be purchased?

Kylie, Afrojack, Saturdays, Cheryl Cole, Tinchy Stryder & Friends, Tinie Tempah/Eric Turner, Gyptian have left the top 40 singles chart from last week.
