Sales-wize it will be (it's probably already close to Umbrella's sales, and it's still in the top 10).

In terms of cultural impact, probably not.

Cultural impact? Did Umbrella stop wars or prevent famine?

Do It Like A Dude  #13

Raise Your Glass  #16

Could these get higher peaks? Jessie definitely should, where did Pink get? It was either #11 or #13 I think.

I'm so happy for Jessie, I really hope that she reaches the Top 10. She's such a talented artist, despite 'Do It Like a Dude' sadly not showcasing that.

I'm guessing Raise Your Glass is rising for New Years parties? It would be great to see it get a new peak!

Cee Lo Green will get the most effect from the Jools Holland show.

And Kylie looks gorgeous. love her hair.

Nah, I think this might boost Plan B back up into the top ten albums. Cee-Lo will probably get a big boost with his singles, though.
TOTP2 80s special being repeated just now, wonder if the late timing will effect any of the songs featured.

It looks like Ke$ha has been deleted now. I think she should release officially tonight so those sales won't be a complete waste :(

I think you are getting confusing with political, social and economic impact.

In Government, the Department of Culture deals with things like sports and the arts, including music. They tend to leave dealing with wars and famines to the big hitters like the Foreign Office. :D

Gosh, that's a bit dramatic! Have ANY songs stopped wars or prevented famine? And even so, we're comparing Umbrella to Only Girl, so that's not relevent, since Only Girl didn't stop wars or prevent famine.

Cultural impact is things like the song being parodied all the time, or a phrase from the song becoming a regular part of people's vocabulary, or the song being sampled and covered extensively in years to come, things like that. I think Umbrella will win on that front, although obviously, we'll have to wait and see. Both songs are undeniably massive anyway.

Anyway, talking about massive songs, I Gotta Feeling is up to #36. :drama:

Also, as if Firework is #4 and Like a G6 is #5, when they were both out of the top 10 a while ago!

I remember last year TiK ToK and Meet Me Halfway had already spent ages in the top ten, left for a week or two and then vaulted back up to positions #4 (new peak for Ke$ha) and #3 due to the gift cards. :D

She Said at #44. :o

Did you forget to combine Firework's second version?

Does the 'Higher' on Taio's album feature Kylie?

Nope. He can't get a hit on his own with songs already existing on an album for some reason so is drafting in featured artists for it.
