I doubt Britney Can still get number 1, she needs to be top 5 by tonight and 1 by tommorow and hold on until Sunday if she wishes to do so.

Well a commercial promoting it on glee would be the best bet.

And it would take 5 minutes to make it.

Imagine that with HIAM playing at the end of the episode. AMAZING.

I SHOULD BE BRITNEY'S f***ING PR.

I hope an ad airs tonight for the single!

Is that an official ad tyler?

Have you seen any in the US?

Tyler the amount you promote her they should offer you a job.

LOL! Did you actually watch it?

Yes it looks better than what most of the high paid people make.

YAY for Britney! :D Can't believe she's doing so well without a video.

I think she's not doing well, at all!

It's not even top 10 yet! And it has such a hype and it went to #1 in 17 countries hours after release.

It's fan made.

And there has been no promo for this song anywhere in the world. Not even radio interviews. Just the song and radioplay.

You do realize she was only released today. She is still gaining momentum and the song only debuted WORLDWIDE last week. Jeesh some people.

I think she's doing fine, considering she was released on a Monday when iTunes isn't that busy, and has had zero promotion except airplay and the song. Should rise to top 5 at least after Glee! :D

I do realize.

And it was supposed to be top 5 by now, everyone expected it.

Instead, it's not even top 10 yet.

Radio airplay IS promo.

But yeah, it's selling mostly on name alone at the moment.

But of course, "name alone" is a lot when it comes to Britney!

New Releases (Top 100 only)

[002] 2. Rolling In the Deep - Adele :left:

[010] 4. Coming Home (feat. Skylar Grey) - Diddy - Dirty Money & Skylar Grey

[007] 5. Traktor (Explicit Edit) - Wretch 32

[009] 7. Like U Like - Aggro Santos & Kimberley Walsh

[019] 11. Hold It Against Me - Britney Spears

[016] 12. Now or Never (feat. Wiley) - Jodie Connor

[070] 51. What The Hell - Avril Lavigne

[050] 52. Traktor (Radio Edit) - Wretch 32

[083] 78. Rolling In the Deep (Jamie xx Shuffle) - Adele

Radio airplay IS promo.

Hence why I said just the song and radioplay. lol.

Britney is doing fine, I did think she'd be top 10 by now but to be fair there are four other new entries ahead of her.

Your Song wasn't back in the top 10 for long  As Like U Like and Traktor knocked it out almost immediately

Big rises for Diddy and Jodie recently :o I hope Wretch ends up ahead of Diddy officially, he does have a second version in the top 60 and his EP has pretty decent sales so he could do it. He should definitely be top 5 anyway and I can see Diddy and Wretch possibly both overtaking Jessie J tomorrow? Although I suppose songs are meant to start peaking/falling on Tuesday so maybe not.

BTW. Isn't it doing pretty good considering this form of release is pretty new to the UK? I mean all other Britney singles have been released after being on radio for a month and having a video out?
Really hope Jodie Connor gets top 10 officially  Also obviously want Brit to keep going, she's close now :cheer:
Avril Lavigne - What The Hell #49! Might just Sneak top 40 !
I don't see the appeal of 'Now Or Never' it's just so meh. and doesn't have any standout points. I would rather Lights On or Who's That Chick to stay in the top 10 then Jodie Connor to get in.
Hence why I said just the song and radioplay. lol.

Well, why did you say the song had no promo then?

You should've said "The only notable promo the song has had so far is radio airplay".

Btw, it's not just you. Like every couple of days I read someone saying "This song is doing so well seeing as it's had no promo" or something, when I hear it on the radio every few hours. I think there's a lot of people here who think "promo" means the artist coming to the country and performing the song live on a TV show.

Plus it might climb further when it picks up airplay and the vid's released! Won't flop quite so bad after all :D
