She's #1 in every country you can actually check on. But #1 in Japan, who have the largest downloads in the world. Although iTunes don't have the largest digital market over there, that would be recochoku.

Either way it's world domination, not western world.

Yes, really. Even so it's next to impossible. This single is out in less than a month and there's nothing to suggest it'll even come within sniffing distance of the top 10...

Talk about over-hype. GaGa could have released 3 minutes of her farting on record and that would have found it's way in the chart. -_-

 

Hopefully S&M will continue to rise. I want it to be a top 5 hit at least. Too anthemic to stay lower!

 

Also can't wait for the coming months in music - Jessie J's album, Rihanna's future singles (hoping 'California King Bed' for the summer) and Leona's comeback. All will be successful I believe.

Anyway, on all the 'On The Floor' talk, I honestly think, apart from obvious exceptions like Lady Gaga, the chart nowadays seems to be full of songs people like, rather than actually buying it because of the artist. I honestly think 'On The Floor' is a good enough song to become a hit even with someone who hasn't had a hit in god knows how long - I don't think she will have a #1 but mabye an 'I Like It' type run? Plus, she has raised her profile slightly with American Idol which makes it a bit more achievable.

I though jmh had disappeared - no idea him and JAMSHA are the same! :o :lol: I've never been so excited for a chart tbh, really want to see if Gaga (or indeed Jessie J now) can overtake Chip/Chris.
