Huge flop for Eric Prydz...not that it's anywhere near as good as Pjanoo though so I'm not bothered...

 

He usually massively switches his sound with each single which has worked for him in the past, so I was surprised to hear that this was a little similar to his last.

Once again though, the iTunes chart proves unreliable as a guide to what'll be #1 on the first mids...

I was hoping Jessie J would stay at no1. Didnt like her first song but love this one. Would like Taio and Kylie to climb.

Maybe the fact there's no UK physical is impacting on its sales. Its a dance track which I would imagine a lot of DJ's would buy on cd single and his last few releases had one. There is a german 2 track CD single for anyone interested.

I think now that Chipmunk's ahead on itunes, he has it in the bag for this week- 6k is a pretty solid lead, even if Jessie overtakes him (which she probably will) I think it won't be enough

6k lead :o Pretty much definite #1 for Chipmunk now (he's now #1 on iTunes and also #83 and #119 plus he has physicals. Jessie is #2 and #92 on iTunes and has no physicals)

 

Other than that, brilliant to see Modestep, Lethal Bizzle and Eric Prydz top 40 (although the latter will likely drop out) :D

True, but so did the large majority of singles released in 2004-2008 when he last released.

 

Huge dance hits seem to be few and far between these days, but then on the flipside, loads of pop and urban music is very 'dancy' these days...

Wow Modestep higher than I expected, and was not expecting Lethal Bizzle & Eric Prydz to go top 40. But Modestep and Eric had lots of pre orders so will fall during the week :( a bit like Steve Aoki's IITH.

Modestep shouldn't fall too far, it is top 40 on iTunes now (I don't think IITH ever got top 40) and the EP is #19.
