February 9, 201115 yr I think people might be underestimating Gaga. The truth is, she has a lot of fans, and I can't imagine them thinking "Oh, Lady Gaga's new song is out today. I'll buy it in a couple of weeks".
February 10, 201115 yr No, it definitely can't. I'll be pedantic here and say that it can. I don't think it will but that's a different matter. It will be on sale for two days in the current chart period so it could sell enough to be number one.
February 10, 201115 yr Say Champion is on course to sell 80-90k, that is doable for Lady Gaga if people know her song is available as of Friday I think. Just depends if people know - assume her hardcore fans will be well aware and will be downloading it Friday, and then casual fans will see it on iTunes and buy it, so I am sure will be pushing for good position in Top 10 come Sunday

On Radio 1, during the chart update, they said the song will be released on Friday, but I'm not sure if Radio 1 are basing this off the same information that we are, or if they know for sure. I would think it is released on Friday if Radio 1 announced it, but they could've read the same information as us, and made the same mistake as us.
February 10, 201115 yr If we look at songs which have been released on a Friday, the song that got the highest by the end of that chart week was Ellie goulding with your song which scraped the top 40 coming in at 39. Other examples such as like a g6 and fireflies only made 51 and 50 so I think that the best gaga will do is top 30 maybe top 25

Then maybe Lady GaGa can reach at least the Top10 for sure it wil be touch ancdgo it depends on how many people like the song I suppose.Hope Loick Essien and N-Dubz don't make the Top20.
