JLS falling big time with the album version of EWS and the single version is slipping too!

 

 

This week is going to be mental. I feel a bit sorry for Far East Movement and You Me at Six. :lol: Their record companies chose a bit unlucky week for the release. It's not going to stop JLS though... Hopefully YM@6 will still sneak into the top-10, as they're quite high in the midweeks and I guess have quite a good chance. And again: go Jessie J! Hopefully she'll be back to #1 by tomorrow evening.

As you would expect - they have been overtaken by 2 acts performing at the BRITS.

 

You would also expect the album version to slip with people purchasing the top 10 version (and the song that is actually being promoted with Tinie)

I genuinely believe they will have changed the running order after the incredible reaction to SLY on Jools Holland. It would make sense as well as it's a ballad as opposed to the up tempo Rolling in the Deep, it creates more of a balance to release SLY next. TBH, there are actually 4 or 5 potential number 1 singles on '21' - an embarrassment of aural riches in other words.

A radio station I listen to sometimes plays the album version of Eyes Wide Shut. They also played the album version of All Night Long by Alexandra Burke. It's not one of those anti-rap stations, because they play LTWYL like every 2 hours, still, so I don't know why they do that. Perhaps they just hate rappers that use dance beats or something?

 

But, JLS fall 2 places, and that's "falling bit time"? :lol:

 

And it's happened with lots of other songs too, where the single version is released, and it effectively replaces the album version, and it's happened the other way around lots of times too. I don't know why, but it does.

Awwww am glad 'Someone Like You' is #6 hope it get's top 10 officially on sunday, Love that song. I expect the album too sale over 100k again this week too
