The original single and album versions of Teenage Dream are climbing aswell! :D

Really glad. Terrible that it did not get to number 1. Although it did in Scotland.

Is there any reason for Glee doing so well this week? Has it suddenly gone up in ratings, or have less people illegally downloaded songs from that episode, or is it hype from the BRITS (yes they are getting nominated for best international newcomer)

because the songs are far more mainstream, relevant and in the public eye- the songs in the previous weeks aren't that relevant nowadays

also they are all far more creative this week and not just a straight cover :D

Why is that tribute to 'Champion' climbing, when the real thing is available and on the front page of iTunes?

All of the live performances at the BRITs (9 of them I believe) are being released to download, so expect the chart to be swamped with them tomorrow.

Performances:

Take That - Kidz (I think this song was confirmed, would be a bit $h!t if they do The Flood)

Plan B - She Said? (unconfirmed but this is most likely)

Rihanna - S&M (I think it's this, assuming she actually does perform it, there's a rumour she may be pulling out)

Tinie Tempah - Pass Out? (again unconfirmed, his could be anything though really, Pass Out seems the most likely option)

Mumford & Sons - The Cave? (could be Little Lion Man but The Cave seems more likely as it actually peaked in 2010)

Adele - Someone Like You (fairly sure this is confirmed)

Cee Lo Green & Paloma Faith - Forget You? (might be a mash-up with one of Paloma's songs but probably not)

Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait? (don't see why they'd perform anything else seeing as their other singles flopped completely)

SURPRISE PERFORMER (may well be Chipmunk & Chris Brown - Champion)

Although Tinie said he was doing a collaboration at the BRITs, so that one is a bit unpredictable as we still haven't heard anything concrete about it.

Don't think Rihanna is pulling out, she was tweeting yesterday about how she's on her way over, on the plane etc.

so Mumford and Sons and Arcade Fire could make the top 40? :o  if they won an award (looks likely) it could give them even more of a boost

Kidz is released next week I think, so that should bode well for it if they are performing it (can't see them doing the Flood for like the 25th time)

'Forget You, New York' would be a very interesting mash-up! Would love to see how it works out if they do it :heehee:

I think Tinie will be performing 'Wonderman'...wasn't it announced that he would be performing with Ellie after Rihanna had to pull out of their performance?

Really hope Arcade Fire perform 'We Used to Wait'!!

I definitely think Mumford & Sons, Adele and Arcade Fire could re-peak assuming the live versions are combined with the originals (live versions are combined with the originals for every other song, so I don't see why it'd be any different this time).

S&M could maybe go top 5 assuming she performs that, not only will it boost the sales of the studio version but the live version should get quite a few sales too, not to mention the radio edit on the verge of the top 40 on iTunes.

I wonder if the BRITs version of Forget You will be separated from the original as the live version has Paloma Faith on it though? Same applies to Tinie if he does a collaboration

I would love for that to happen, but they performed it at the BRITS Nomination's, so I'm not sure whether they would again?

Rihanna didn't pull out. She was never performing with Tinie. Their both performing separately

Rihanna and Tinie were never going to perform, that was always a rumour, Tinie said so himself.

I'm not sure what the source is for all the performances being released by the way, I'm just going off what someone said in the BRITs thread in the Pop Forum :P Sorry if it turns out to just be a rumour

Gaga seems to be stabilising now.

I make her lead a fraction under 1.5-1, exactly what it was this morning.

Oh. :( And I thought I finally had the chance to prove Bray wrong!
