A 90s no hit wonder and one of the biggest stars of the past year! Wow at You Me At Six, finally some singles success. But this one's actually deserved, easily their best single imo after they replaced the screamo with actually enjoyable proper singing.

I know 9k is a bit of a stretch, but I still think Jessie J is going to re-take #1 by the end of the week, Gaga's sales are going to trail off, a lot of people know its in the public domain now, I think the buzz around the track is going to wane off a bit, no video, no promo, eveything is in Jessie's favour at the moment, and her album is out next week. And who is going to stay up all night to watch the grammys. ^_^

February 15, 201115 yr I didnt think B Sides counted in the official charts, didnt the same happen with JLs's version of Umbrella where it was number 10 in the midweeks the same week as Beat Again came out and then around Thursday of that week it was disqualified from charting because B Sides cant chart separately :huh:

I'm still maintaining my opinion that Jessie J won't experience much of an effect from picking up an award without performing. She'll probably overtake tomorrow night or Thursday morning, but there's no way she'll build up anywhere near the popbar lead GaGa had at the beginning of the week.

Buts its easily not her best single when its compared to her other tracks, my ears can't withstand the pain of listening to the track again :( anyhow some acts do go to #1 on name only. :P the track needs more promo, not just the grammys and there isn't nothing else to plug the track coming any soon.

True. I love the track, but I didn't at first. I didn't buy it until I decided it was worthy of a place on my iPod :P. On Jay Leno she said the video was 'coming soon'. I reckon if she misses #1 this week, provided she doesn't pull a 'Telephone' and delay it for months, she will hit #1 if she is still #5+ on iTunes when the video comes out - depending on the quality, of course, but it is GaGa after all.

February 15, 201115 yr Gagas song is just NOT #1 worthy in any way shape or form lol. The quality is every bit as poor as American Life by Madonna- which was in a similar place- huge star, 1st single, lots of momentum I think was actually in the lead most of the week, than lost at it by Sunday (by a song that was already #1 for 3 or 4 weeks) lol. The ONLY reason BTW will get #1 is simply because of who is it is and thats just wrong.
