Woooaaahhhh...album version of SLY back up to 4 on itunes but here's the biggie - live Brits version UP TO 7!!! Seriously, are we looking at a potential number 1 here of a song that isn't actually released as a single?

I don't know why everyone is worried about Lady GaGa getting to #1 this week she gets her time when she fully releases the single otherwise BTW will end up week after week at #1 for ages, let Jessie have her 15 mins of fame for christsake, its not too much to ask. It be nice for the #1s to stablilise a bit, instead of changing week after week. 3 weeks of Jessie doesn't hurt, than Lady Gaga can hog the limelight for 3 to 5 weeks, with the comic relief single to follow.

All versions of the same song are counted as one.

I think Adele may be number one by Sunday but i really hope Gaga can do it!!!!!

Last year 'You Got the Dirtee Love' was a mash up of two songs and therefore was probably classed as a differnet song from 'You Got the Love'.

 

Someone Like You is just a live version of the original so should be classed as 1 song

I don't think they'll care too much. It's only the UK after all. Had it affected her position in the US they may be raging, but she's #1 there.

I think the new releases will really suffer now due to the BRITs effect :(

Of the eight performances, six have been released - 3 are just live versions (TT, Adele, Mumford) so they will be combined but the medleys (Tinie/Labrinth/Eric Turner - We Bring The Stars Out, Plan B - She Said Prayin') and the Paloma version of Forget You will likely chart separately.

Not too sure about the Cee-Lo Green / Paloma track. It is arguable that it should be treated the same as the different versions of Taio Cruz's Higher.

the uks the second biggest music market in the world though??i would say they are happy the songs top 10 and the album will sell bucket loads!!

I think with the 2 versions combined Adele could pip it you know.

Combining a medley with one single is distrotion. It should be counted as a seperate song.
