Forget you would be around 25th or something combined?

Gwyneth Paltrow had her first UK chart appearance with "Me & Tennessee" from the "Country Strong" movie debuting at #129 on the Top 200 singles chart thanks to the movie and strong airplay from Radio 2. It would be nice to see her have two added top 40 entries to her credit.

 

Still surprised the Australian #1 single "Cruisin'" with Huey Lewis was never given a UK release 10 years ago. :o

Gwenyth Paltrow is an AMAZING singer! I knew she could sing before Glee, but god her singing Forget You is better than the original imo! She NEEDS to make an album! :wub:

I thought/think she sounds quite crap on 'Forget You' tbh. Her voice sounds horribly nasally and monotonous. But she's got a better voice than I'd imagined her having!

Thank god someone else agrees with me! The way she pronunces the words in it puts me off the song badly. :(

I did love Gwyneth in that episode, she pretty much made an otherwise fairly dull episode I thought. Oh and Sue obviously helped.

I don't think it will go top 10 (on iTunes) tbh. :(

 

But the original version of Umbrella has risen a little bit too!!! Might re-enter the top 200 this week. More Rihanna can never hurt. :wub:

Probably the best thing created by Glee! Gwyneth was fantastic in that episode (and good vocals too) and i usually don't like her!

 

And i see Justin Bieber at 34! Somebody erase him please! :lol:

Just a question though, I don't actually watch Glee, but I always thought Gwyneth person was a series regular? Are Glee Cast turning into the Pussycat Dolls, and now featuring the lead singer on their songs, or am I just wrong? :lol:

No Gwyneth Paltrow is not a series regular :rofl: She's a bigger star than all of them combined. Any guest stars ie Jonathan Groff, Charice are credited, or at least on iTunes.

lol. I thought Charice was a series regular aswell! :drama: I dunno, I hear these names crop up in so many conversations about Glee, I genuinely thought they were in every/most episodes!

Brilliant news for Alexis.. No doubt she will break #07 soon, delighted she will have another top 10 hit.. c'mon top 5.. combined she must be 8th anyway and album chart(itunes) will help her :)

Eric.. glee has a strong chance of going top 20 (depending on where forget you is.. which will be glee's highest charting single this year) the fact that it's 16th combined. This is not including Adele's two versions of someone like you = 15th. Best Start for Glee in ages.

Didn't 'Telephone' go top 10 and 'Empire State of Mind' reach Top 20/30? :unsure:

 

And Tom, I don't think Charice was individually credited. The only people to be individually credited are Neil Patrick-Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Jonathan Groff, Idina Menzel, Gwyneth Paltrow & Olivia Newton-John.
