I specifically remember Wordshaker being at #1 on the iTunes chart, and getting my hopes up that it'd be #1 in the midweeks. Untill I realised the iTunes album chart had like a 15% share of album sales.

Haha same, it was round about then I realised how little market share iTunes had for albums. I think I read on average that if the album is only available on iTunes and gets to number 1 then it may not even make top 75.

Haha. I actually meant for the week they were #11! Haha. I could have worded that better! My apologies. But those sales are BRILLIANT! Can't believe Kelly was 8th with 950k+! She'd get top 3 now! LOL :(

^ I was wondering whether you meant that instead, oops! Here's the sales from that particular week:

241382 Eminem (1)

132632 Robbie Williams (2)

124647 Westlife (3)

111666 Take That (4)

102947 Madonna (5)

101157 Il Divo (6)

94946 James Blunt (7)

91035 Sugababes (8)

83980 Kelly Clarkson (9)

82193 Pussycat Dolls (10)

81962 Girls Aloud (11)

Incredibly tough week, 6 albums above 100,000. :o

The equivalent week in 2010 wasn't as good as that at all:

203210 Take That (1)

122182 Michael Buble (2)

105495 Olly Murs (3)

94774 Rihanna (4)

86373 JLS (5)

76888 Susan Boyle (6)

70359 Kings of Leon (7)

66820 Bon Jovi (8)

63658 Black Eyed Peas (9)

62654 Andre Rieu (10)

56267 P!nk (11)

Really hope this album does well for them, seems like the album they have taken the most time with along with Chasing Lights the other two just seemed so rushed and impersonal. I like how they have written for this album too. :D, Think i'll be happy with first week sales over 45,000.

Love all the individual shots! :D

So The Wanted and Katy Perry are performing AGAIN on X-Factor next week. :( Katy is even performing a SIXTH single from her album. :(

I keep on wanting to hear those words by Dermot "next week we have ____ and the biggest girl group in the UK, The Saturdays will be here live" but it'll never happen. :(

^I know right

I think it would be too early for them. Perhaps the day before the single is released digitally or the weekend before that.

I personally think they deserve it. It would boost the tour ticket sales, album sales and single sales, and overall would be beneficial to the group as well as promote them on a bigger level :)

If they pushed back a week to the 21st & 28th only real competition is Olly Murs for singles. Then Joe McElderry and Olly Murs on albums.

If they pushed back two weeks to 28th & 5th only real competition is Rebecca Ferguson for singles & albums. Perhaps they should push back two weeks then they have second and third weeks of major competition and only first week of Rebecca who may not do well anyway.

I think Saturdays will get crushed, I hope that week of release it's group week but c'mon The Saturdays & One Direction performing wont bring in mega mega ratings. I expect Rihanna and One Direction.

You do realise they're more likely to do 1D/The Sats as 1D will pull in huge ammounts of figures. With Westlife not being signed to to SyCo now and not being managed by Louis, they wont have a great chance either. At the end of the day, anything produced by SyCo will be a platform for their artists and they'll come first before any other. Why would they have Rihanna on that week? She's already released We Found Love. The Children In Need track will be performed no matter what that week though, with 1D as their seccond guest.

I am not so sure about the Children In Need song being performed I am sure Tulisa will not perform twice and will no doubt want a solo performance.

You do realise Garry Barlow put the Children In Need single together right? Of course it's going to be performed.

Pre-ordered the album from Amazon, but they seem to have put the price back to £7.99

Pre-Order Charts

13 HMV

42 Play.com

46 Amazon

Does anyone know which of these has the biggest CD sales? ^_^ I thought it might have been..

1. Amazon

2. HMV

3. Play.com

But I could be totally wrong. :P

I am debating whether or not I want the deulxe eddition or either a Mollie or Frankie slip case.

I really want the headlines tour dvd... Hummmm

I opted for the deluxe after much deliberation. Really hope the extras will be worth the extra monies!
Signed edition of the Deluxe is now sold out... Before I made my order. OOPS! Can't say I'm that bothered about a bunch of impersonal signatures though to be honest. Still gonna order the deluxe :) Just need to decide on what else to order with it to get free delivery...

Same here, I don't want my album ruined with ink, if I wanted an autograph I'd order one of their signed singles.

Didn't know about the free shipping, how much does it require and is it UK only?
