September 5, 201113 yr Fantastic album - loving The Way, Never Had A Day & Playing In The Shadows - but its all great tbh Hope this goes to number 1 come sunday :D
September 5, 201113 yr I am LOVING 'Natural Disaster' with Laidback Luke at the moment, definitely better than his next single.
September 5, 201113 yr I am LOVING 'Natural Disaster' with Laidback Luke at the moment, definitely better than his next single. MUCH better, maybe it'll be like what 'Miami 2 Ibiza' was for Tinie Tempah.
September 5, 201113 yr The more I listen to the album - the more I love it. Well done, Example! Instant smashes for me are 'The Way', 'Changed the Way You Kiss Me', 'Natural Disaster' and 'Anything', but I'm sure some of the other tracks are going to outgrow the mentioned ones.
September 6, 201113 yr Is this worth getting as it's Amazon's £3.99 album of the week... I'm not 100% sold though even at that price.
September 6, 201113 yr Is this worth getting as it's Amazon's £3.99 album of the week... I'm not 100% sold though even at that price. Probably not! Put the £3.99 towards your new shoes.

September 6, 201113 yr Is this worth getting as it's Amazon's £3.99 album of the week... I'm not 100% sold though even at that price. I'd definitely say it's worth it. I personally love the album, despite not being an Example fan aside from Kickstarts before. I gave it a listen on whim, and it's actually great.
September 7, 201113 yr I concur, it's definitely worth it, and the album is surprisingly quite diverse. It's a bit jumping on a dubstep bandwagon too, but that's the only flaw.
September 7, 201113 yr AMAZING album - my favourite tracks (other than CTWYKM) are probably 'Under The Influence' and 'Skies Don't Lie'.
September 7, 201113 yr Actually, I love the less dubsteppy songs. Anything and Lying to Yourself are two of the best on the album IMO.
September 11, 201113 yr Chart spoiler (he put it on Facebook): When I started in this industry 8 years ago all I ever wanted was a No.1 album. Today I can be proud. Thankyou all so much for your support. Elliot x Right, time to celebrate! Someone put the kettle on...
September 12, 201113 yr Actually, I love the less dubsteppy songs. Anything and Lying to Yourself are two of the best on the album IMO. Lying to Yourself is amazing! Absolutely beautiful. 'Anything' is a little awesome gem too. I can't name a song on the album which I don't like. The album isn't very dubsteppy as I feared which is a good thing too.
September 13, 201113 yr After a few listens to this, I'm thinking 'Stay Awake' is one of the worst tracks in the album, for some reason. Loving 'Skies Don't Lie', 'Playing In The Shadows' and 'Midnight Run'. This and the last album have been really good, not sure which I prefer of the two though. Edited September 13, 201113 yr by FM11
September 14, 201113 yr I still haven't even listened to this album or Nero's. Completely failing at being a loon of both. Nonetheless, 'Natural Disaster' is alright but not as good as I'd hoped :( 'Midnight Run' is very good and sounds like a bit of a grower as well.
November 11, 201113 yr I got this a while back, but only just got around to listening it to the first time. my initial rate: 08: Skies Don't Lie // very nice, if not a little to alike to the rest of the album so it's the right album opener I think 09: Stay Awake // loved this a lot at the time, still do but not on the same scale. wasn't expecting to fall from the chart as quickly as it did though! 08: Changed the Way You Kiss Me // I'd be lying if I said I love this as much as I used to, I've gone off it a tad. still a great song though. 10: The Way // fantastic, fourth single please! 09: Natural Disaster (vs. Laidback Luke) // a really strong dance track, it's hit material too so I'm shocked to see that it did pretty poorly in the charts. 09: Never Had a Day // very different to the majority in the album, the transition from piano to the electro is fantastic. 09: Microphone // same with the above. 09: Playing In the Shadows // I've heard this a lot on a game advert (can't remember which one) and listening to it in full felt great. another example (no pun intended) of amazing dance/indie fusion. 09: Midnight Run // the beat in this is heavily infectious, although while it's a great song I'd rather have had 'the way' as third single. 07: Under the Influence // a pretty good song, if not overshadowed by the others. 05: Wrong In the Head // can't remember much of this but it wasn't bad. 07: Anything // another good song which is better when being listened to. afterwards it's a tad forgettable. 06: Lying To Yourself // same with the above. very strong album actually, a lot better than I thought. only the last 4 tracks I think are a letdown and show what I was expecting the whole album to sound like so I'm happy that the album's got a variety of different styles of dance music. highlights: 'the way', 'playing in the shadows', 'microphone', 'stay awake' and 'midnight run'.
